Okay, First let me premise this by stating I am not looking for advice just comments, on this trade by 2 owners in our league. In which would like to print off this reply and give him an unbias opinion of how poor his trade was. So tell me if anyone one this board would have done this trade. In a dynasty league.

R.Bush

D.Williams

V.Davis

TJ Housmanzadeh

A.Brooks

for

T.Owens

R.Droughs

A.Green

Would Love to here comments to print off and give to this owner.

This should be copy righted   Hobbit, just sit back and enjoy your season, don't fret over other teams deals.

I think this deal is a little one-sided.In dynasty I would rank Droughns and D.Williams similarly.

I would also say Brooks + Housh is close to the value of Ahman Green.

In a TE required league, I'd think Vernon Davis would be a mid-round pick.

Owens should be a 2nd rounder.

Now it comes down to... where do you rank Bush?

If you think he's top 10... which in a PPR league, I would say, yes, then the team getting the package including Bush would be much better.

In a non-PPR league, I would think that Bush can be considered as low as a late 2nd rounder.

Either way, the team getting Bush should be happy.

The value of the trade depends on the needs of the owner. If you are still solid at running back and need a wide receiver, then the T.O. acquisition is a good one.

Which team wins this?

One is giving up three rookies that could be studs or busts, a QB that could be pulled sometime this season, and a WR2 that has some potential but may struggle with QB issues.

The other gets one of the best WRs of the century, that could also self destruct. A decent RB with high carries, low TD totals and not much competition for carries, and a former top three back that may still produce one or two good years.

It's potential vs. proven talent. I would definitely say that each owner could think they are winning.

- Terrell Owens will be 33 at the end of the 2006 season and has missed at least a couple of starts in 6 of the past 7 seasons. I won't even bring up his disruptive tendencies.- Ahman Green meet fork. Fork meet Ahman Green.

- Reuben Droughns is trying his best to land in hot water with the league. I look at him as a player with limited upside. The Browns front office will probably start looking for his replacement as early as next season.

Without the benefit of knowing the full rosters of each team it is tough to analyze this situation. Based on the data provided, I would rather have Reggie Bush, DeAngelo Williams, Vernon Davis, TJ and AB.

I don't care for the trade but think your leaguemates are the one's to discuss this with and not necessarily the pool here. Don't ya have a rule of sorts to reject trades? like 3/4 of the league votes to reject it, it's rejected?

since you asked though, V. Davis and Bush's dynasty value is enormous and I'd consider that trade fair without the other 3 players. I might even consider the other 3 fair too as a separate offer. All 5 seems excessive and I'd ask for some of what that owner's smoking or getting in return.

GL with this. I was in a dynasty league for years and it was "killed' by a lopsided trade that sent league members bashing each other all season long until it's eventual demise. The kicker is we all still email each other all the time and chat often about football. It's a shame we let that trade inadvertently ruin the league. I suppose my advice to you is fight it if you're gonna fight it or leave it alone. Get what you're gonna do over with and move on. Remember this is a game and be mature/respectful when chatting with leaguemates. To repeat for emphasis, get this battle/debate over now and don't bring it up again later in the year.

Good luck

Let me share a couple of the other offers this owner had to choose from

The league is no PPR and TE Required.

He could have gotten E.James for R.Bush and D.Williams and Housmanzadeh

He could have also gotten T.Holt and Santana Moss for R.Bush

Both of those offer were on the table prior to him accepting this one.

As for rejecting trades, it's commish ruled, unless the commish is involved than its a secondary commish. We have never rejected a trade in our league history of 8 years. But have kicked out several owners over the years.

As for other players.

The teams has

D.Davis

B.Farve, Plummer, Culter

Kennison, Porter, Smith

H.Miller

and beyond that not really much to mention

The trade can have different values for different teams. I traded TO and Andre Johnson for the #2 pick in March of this year. I netted Lawrence Maroney. I only had LaMont Jordan at RB and the #3 pick at the time. Now I have LaMont Jordan, Lawrence Maroney and Deangelo Williams at RB. After the trade, and to this day, I have at WR A. Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith and Lee Evans.

By any measure I well overpaid for the #2 pick. But I desperately needed the RB help and I wasn't certain the #3 would get me any help at RB. I first offered TO and Andre Johnson for the #1 and was turned down. Even though I well overpaid, I still have enough WR's to get the job done.

If the guy is making a run this year, then getting TO and the two RB's helps more than the potential represented by the rookies. Besides, he also made roster space, which is helpful for grabbing players off the waiver.

I might have taken the Holt and Santana offer over the TO offer, but maybe not. The owner now has two RB's, one of which is a starter and the other will be if he is healed. TO is projected for some great numbers this year. Bush is sharing carries with a very good RB on a mediocre team and Vernon Davis went to the 49ers. The 49ers!! Deangelo Williams will be fighting for playing time.

Basically, I see nothing wrong with the deal.
