I need two DL reserves. What two defensive ends should I claim? I appreciate all input. *Travis LaBoy*Matt Roth*Kalimba Edwards*T. Hali*T. Brayton*Kris Jenkins
I'll assume this is a full dynasty league with a standard scoring system and that you need players who may contribute this year but still have a eye on future production.IMO, Travis LaBoy is easily the best option here. Without Antwan Odom around to vulture snaps in rotation, LaBoy would've projected to a solid 45 plus solo tackles and likely double digit sacks in 2005 from his second half starter snap production. You could make an argument that Kalimba Edwards is on the verge of breaking out (again), but I'd go with Tamba Hali, who will probably start opposite Jared Allen in week one and has the look of a solid two-way rush end.Matt Roth isn't close to getting a significant number of snaps in 2006. Jenkins isn't a bad option either but will probably be in rotation with Ma'ake Kemoeatu and Damione Lewis and doesn't have the upside of Hali. Tyler Brayton isn't in the discussion.
I have been picking up Laboy in most my leagues. I know the Chiefs are going crazy over Hali. They have major plans for him. Redding seems to be forcing out Edwards and Brayton is replaced by Lance Johnstone when it counts ...
I think Jene has it spot-on ... Laboy or Hali is the way to go ...
