What happened in Cincinnati Saturday night? (1 Viewer)

  • Thread starter Thread starter General Tso
  • Start date Start date
And Tso...get off the high horse on calling others trolls.

-you started a thread with the premise that the "liberal" media was not covering a 40 on 1 beating of a guy within an inch of his life because of it being black on white. The 40 on 1 and how bad the beating or how bad off he was after was not an insignificant detail...it was the whole premise of why you claimed it was a national story.

-you have slung as many insults...if not more...than have come at you. Many times unprovoked.

-you brought up both myself and short corner after the conversation had died down.

If you want a real discussion on race, there are better ways to start them. I don't believe that is what you really wanted...or you would not have been calling people tards, slow, bottom of the barrel, trolls or just labeling people you know nothing about as liberals.

You claim I have done this for years on here in the FFA. Odd since I am not involved in all that many political threads and when I am it is about my opinion and I have strongly backed that with facts.

I disagreed with your take on this incident and backed it up...you have spun it around to other things now so you can play the victim.

If you want respect and a civil discussion...then you best be earning such things rather than coming out how you have in here and you have in the past in other threads on these boards.

Familar with the story, but only read last page of thread. General Tso makes sense and has real questions others have no real response or answers so they result to insults...
  • End the War on Drugs including the militarization of our police forces and privatization of our prisons
  • Replace the Welfare State (including corporate welfare) with a Guaranteed Income
  • Rebuild the nation's infrastructure including replacing burning fossil fuels for energy
  • Public Universities and Colleges should be free to American Citizens and long term residents (legal or not)
  • Universal healthcare including transportation to providers when needed
In other words trust that if "those people" are given good choices, given opportunities they will mostly take them. All or at least most of these General TSO outright rejects. So ultimately how can there be this "adult conversation" when it is not about discussing ideas but a demand that nonsense be acknowledged. But it all makes sense to you!
I'm ok with prisons being privatized, but financial incentives to be geared towards reduced recidivism rather than just volume.

Dude, I am saying this in all seriousness because I honestly think you are so delusional you need a shot of the real truth of the matter here. You trolled me from the get-go in here and there's no denying it. Before I ever even directed a negative word at you or anyone else in here, you called me a biased hack (see below, bolded by me):

The victim is named Christopher McKnight. 27 years old from New Albany, Indiana. He was released from the hospital that night.

Press is getting on him for fighting back. Unbelievable.
Guys who get beat by 40 guys within an inch of his life...as you claimed...dont get released the same night.
Yeah, you're late to that party. It's become commonly accepted fact in here that this wasn't at all a serious matter. Just a fight. You know the difference between life and death in one of these fights? Chance. That's it. I know of a fight where it was one punch. Guy fell to the ground, hit his head the wrong way and died.

If you can watch the video of him on the ground and conclude that it wasn't a severe beating then I don't know what to tell you.
You claimed he almost died and was beaten half to death or within an inch of his life. You went over the top because you are a biased hack when it comes ti things like this.

The guy wasn't beaten by 40 guys and suffered injuries so bad he was teleased from the hospital.

It was a beating during a fight...its not national news to most people except those on the faux outrage train mad about race relations.
I responded back to you focusing on the issues, not taking it personal. But you kept it up with the personal crap:

You mean hate crimes that the captaon stated was the opinion of the reporter...as i linked above...and that they have backed off on while they investigate?

Meanwhile you bought into the first story out there that fed into your existing bias.

not shocking from you Tso.

Pitifil is that tou keep trying and keep failing.
Once again, I ignored it. You came back once again with a milder version of the non-value-added trolling:

Doubling down on the foolishness...so awesome.
You made all these posts before I said anything even remotely negative about you. Go back and look through the posts again.

Yes, I eventually did did snap and go off the rails, lobbing a nasty insult back to the mob who was trolling me (mostly directed at Todd Andrews). And for that I got a well deserved two day vacation and a promise not to use the word again.

Now I'm going to ask you for the second or third time - please put me on ignore or stop responding to my posts with trolling or silly name calling / personal attacks. It's really that easy. And get some help. Seriously.

It was the truth...you are biased.

Can you refute the point of the OP in this thread was to complain about the liberal media not covering a story?

And it was such a big story because you thought it was 40 on 1 and that a guy was beaten to a pulp or within an inch of his life as you called it?

That was the premise of this thread.

Everyone can see that.

After being called out on those...you claimed they were just small details.

There is nothing delusional about that...that you don't see what is going on shows you are completely delusional.

I have no need to put you on ignore...if you want to ignore me...nothing is stopping you.

But you crying about personal attacks or insults is laughable...when the worst thing I called you was a hack (which you are).

And the guy with over 3 times as many replies as the #2 guy in the thread is the one who needs help chief.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Her car damaged, her nerves shaken, the victim of an alleged group attack near the University of Chicago campus spoke exclusively with ABC7 Eyewitness News.

Police say two people were arrested and charged, but Susan Pedersen says several dozen people were involved in the attack that left her two children covered in broken glass. They were in the back seat of the vehicle, which was left dented with the rear glass shattered.

"I'm very scared, very anxious, nervous. Just fearful," she said.

Broken glass littered the pavement at 60th and King Drive across from Washington Park, where the attack took place around 9 p.m. Thursday night. Pedersen says she had just dropped off a friend at the University of Chicago when she stopped at a red light and found her car surrounded by several dozen young people.

"They were walking around both sides of the vehicle - in the front, in the back - and as they were walking across, they were hitting my car, using racial slurs and telling me that I didn't belong in their neighborhood because I was white," Pedersen said.

The group, all African-American, she says, kicked the vehicle and shook it violently. Her children were screaming from the back of the vehicle.

Pedersen said one person was on a bicycle, which the group used it as a battering ram to shatter the back window. The broken glass left cuts on her 3-year-old son, Benjamin.

Pedersen said a police car, which happened to be nearby, arrived and the group scattered.

Two juveniles were arrested, police said. They were charged with misdemeanor criminal damage to property.

Pedersen says the crime damaged more than her property. She would like more serious charges filed.

"This is something that's going to stay with me for the rest of my life," she said.

If I was to take a guess, it would cast you in a very bad light....
An excuse for why those scumbags did that to the lady and her kids? WTF does that have to do with me?
Puzzling, as this thread was about Cinncinatti with a lone post about this Chicago incident (maybe the other posters had you on ignore...)your post seems to imply that "excuses" were made in previous instances, and since this thread is about the Cincinnati incident, maybe you think excuses were made? Can you clarify?

I'm also wondering if you can clarify how these two separate incidents are related. I don't see it.

Another unarmed black guy shot in the head by police.

(CNN)Cincinnati police are investigating the fatal shooting of an apparently unarmed black man by a University of Cincinnati police officer after a confrontation during a traffic stop Sunday.
The dead man, who was shot in the head, was Samuel Dubose, a 43-year-old father of 13 children, according toCNN affiliate WKRC-TV. A CNN records search showed that Dubose had more than 60 arrests.

Authorities identified the officer as Ray Tensing, who has five years' experience in law enforcement and who has worked for the University of Cincinnati Police Department for more than a year. He is white.

According to the Cincinnati Police Department, which is handling the investigation, Tensing saw Dubose driving without a front license plate around 6:30 Sunday evening and tried to pull him over. Police said Dubose continued for about a mile before stopping the car.

A struggle ensued
Tensing asked several times to see Dubose's driver's license, Cincinnati police said. Instead, police said, Dubose handed the officer a bottle of alcohol.

According to police, Tensing asked Dubose to step out of the car, at which point a struggle ensued.

"There was a struggle at the door with Mr. Dubose in the vehicle and the officer outside the vehicle, and the vehicle sped away," Cincinnati police Lt. Col. James Whalen told reporters.

Tensing fired a single shot, hitting the driver in the head. Tensing fell to the ground as he fired the shot, bruising his legs and tearing his uniform, Cincinnati police said.

It appeared that Dubose did not have a weapon, according to police.

Dubose's mother, Audrey, said her son was "full of love," CNN affiliate WLWT-TV reported.

"Know that my son was not a violent person," she said. "My son ... he got stopped a lot but he never tried to fight."

Samuel Dubose's 9-year-old son, also named Samuel, told WKRC, "He was coming home that night and we had a projector so we were going to watch a movie on it but we didn't get to do that ... because he died."

The officer has been placed on administrative leave with pay. He has not yet been interviewed, nor have two other officers who arrived on the scene, as they are allowed 24 to 48 hours to work with their attorneys first.

Tensing was wearing a body camera, police said. They also said they have received surveillance video from nearby buildings but have yet to view it. No dashboard camera video is available, police said.

Video of the incident will not be released until the investigation is over, according to Cincinnati City Manager Harry Black.

Jason Goodrich, public safety director and police chief at the University of Cincinnati, said a mutual aid agreement allows university officers to function as officers outside campus grounds.
