First thing I thought of was Hoosiers ... but after seeing the list, had to vote for Blue Velvet.

I've never seen Easy Rider.  Does it hold up?  I might have to add it to my older-movies-I've-never-seen-but-plan-to-some-day list

It really hasn't aged well, but it does give you a good sense of how writers/directors/cinematographers tried to depict the time and the drugs.

His scene with Christopher Walken in true romance is one of the best scenes ever filmed by two great actors at their peak

By reputation - Easy Rider.  But by my personal experience - Blue Velvet, so I voted that. (And yes I have seen Easy Rider)

Having said that, he sure made his few minutes of screen time in True Romance memorable.

Easy Rider hasn’t aged well but it was a first of its kind movie and from a ‘phenomenon’ standpoint...extremely relevant in terms of movie history.

I picked that because when I think of Hopper, I think of drugs...not basketball.  Plus, he also directed it.   Blue Velvet was great too though...

Went with Blue Velvet. True Romance is a close second, but Pabst ####### Blue Ribbon will never be forgotten in this mind.
