We play this game for different reasons, most of us want to win, but is it the most important thing?
I used to simply want to win, but lately I've become more focused on being a fair owner who anyone in the league can deal with, and someone who gives good advice - whether in the league or outside. Now, before you rail on me for helping others in the league, I play in a couple work leagues where it's all about having fun. A few of us know our stuff better than others, but I don't find it fun to "hide the ball" and watch as 3 of us dominate. The others are ok with it, and do the same. We'll heckle each other for dumb moves, but if we didn't help each other, it would be like calling a ###### "######ed", you just don't do it.
In dynasty, I also get more enjoyment out of forming the team than even winning it all, as most will attest to, winning it all is a lot of luck, forming and keeping a good team requires skill.
