What is the worst dynasty trade you have been offered? (2 Viewers)

Last season, give Schaub and get Louis Murphy. Trade was offered by the commish. Even though Schaub didn't meet expectations for 2010, might've been the worst trade proposal ever.

Guy offered me the 1.10 rookie pick for Brandon Jacobs, Tim Hightower and Reggie Wayne. Then later offer Curtis Lofton for Drew Brees in a 2QB league.

Not sure it was the worst, but it was definitely a bad one offered quite recently. I was sitting on like the 12th or 13th pick in a recent deep dynasty draft (Hyper/Active 1) and was trying to decide who to pick. I was particularly looking at the QB, and I really like Jake Locker and was thinking of taking him over Cam who was still available. Guy offered me Vince Young for the pick. I replied, "Why would I trade for Vince Young when I can pick the starter in Tennessee right now."

I took Cam.

I know, nobody cares about my team...

 
12 team dynasty 1PPR, just got an offer for Santonio Holmes. He was willing to "give up" Robert Meachem and Jonathan Dwyer. I'm wondering if I'm over-valuing Holmes or if that was an amazing lowball offer. He was offended when I rejected it, then offered Steve Breaston and Meachem for Holmes, saying it was "more than fair"

I was just offered D Garrard and a 2012 5th round pick for J Flacco. This is a dynasty league, start 2 QB.

I really wanted to reply back with a WTF comment, but for once took the high road...

Dynasty start 2 QB with QB heavy scoring. I was in need of a QB. Not desperate though.

I was offered Hasselback for my 2012 1st rounder. Declined, then the guy took Locker in the draft. Told him I would make that trade instead and he thought I was crazy.

 
I turned down his Lloyd for my Harvin + 1.04 (PPR) saying I could get a better WR in another deal for that pick, he responds with Lloyd for JSTew + 1.04...not the worst, just the most recent in an unending run of poor trade offers.

Worked at a trade with a guy for weeks in a keeper league. He needed another keeper, and I offered 2 deals:

- Forte and Greg Jennings for Charles

- Brees, Forte, and Jennings for Rodgers and Charles

Dude counters with Brees, Mendenhall, Forte, and Jennings for Rodgers and Charles; Forte and Roddy White for Charles; and the worst of all: Greg Jennings STRAIGHT for a sixth round pick.

needless to say I won't be dealing with him again

After stating that I needed a WR and TE on the trade block, I was offered Marcedes Lewis for Jahvid Best. I countered with Jahvid Best for Mike Wallace. Haven't heard back from the other owner since.

 
PPR - I was just offered Addai and a 2nd rd pick for Julio Jones. Can you believe that? I guess he thinks I just jumped off the turnip truck :lol: I kindly thanked him for the offer and said I wouldn't trade Jones for Addai and 2 1st rd picks, let alone Addai and a 2nd.

Same here My 2 QB's have the same bye so(dynasty 12 team league) I was offered Garrard by the Gabbert owner for a 3rd round rookie pick and $6.Made me feel like a neighbor dumping garbage in my yard and asking me to pay to clean it up.Let me addI have a lot of players with a week 8 bye(incl both kickers) so I'm just conceding that game.

It's bad enough you're carrying two kickers, but why two on the same bye? I don't think it's very smart to carry two kickers any time. That roster spot can be better used on a prospect if it's a dynasty league, or a backup RB in case of injury. The difference in scoring between kickers is minimal and that's another reason not to carry two kickers. You can always pickup a kicker when you need one.

I have seen worse, but manditory drops means it is the annual time for people to offer bunches of stuff for one or two good players.

A guy just offered me Lee Evans and Knox for Fitz. When I declined, he sweetened the deal with a 3rd round pick next year.

 
Me (via PM): I'd be willing to give you MJD + something for Foster, or DeAngelo + Roddy White for Foster, but there's no way you'll get both MJD and Roddy White for Foster.

Him (via PM): I saw in your last PM that you said you'd give me DeAngelo + Roddy White for Arian Foster. That's an interesting proposal, but would you be willing to upgrade DeAngelo to MJD and give me MJD + White for Foster?

Me: *facepalm*

I don't mind people who make bad offers. I just mind people who do not listen to what I am saying during trade negotiations. There's an excuse for the former (maybe they have completely different valuations, maybe they suck at making trade proposals, or maybe they're just chumming the waters with crappy trades to try to fleece the ignorant), but there is no excuse whatsoever for the latter.

 
Daniel Thomas and Anthony Armstrong for Deangelo Williams and Dez Bryant most recently. This was pretty far into camp so the lack of DThomas buzz was already apparent. Came in last place last year so the bad offers have been pouring in.

 
I get so many bad ones that it's hard for me to remember.

Lots of them are just downright offensive to the extent that they take you for a complete moron.

I got one this year for a player who had JUST been injured. Think it was Ryan Williams for LeSean McCoy or something equally ######ed.

That one left a bad taste in my mouth.

Really doesn't look that bad to me. I like Britt a little bit better than Jones, but the first and Ridley definitely makes it a bad offer. But it isn't terrible.
 
12 team ppr...Just before the rookie/fa draft (in june) was offered

I don't recall the worst offer I have received over the years, but I recently (dynasty PPR) got offered Hightower & Helu for Manningham. I declined.

I was just offered a 2012 second round pick, Darrius Heyward Bey and Derek Mason for Antonio Gates after I rejected an offer of Jeremy Shockey and a 2012 first rounder for him saying that if I trade Gates I need something that will help me this year.

Ive also received about half a dozen offers for A.J. Green since drafting him from the same owner, most of which Plaxico has been the center piece of his offers :thumbdown:

It's a dynasty and that's the way it laid out. Now I'm trying to trade one of them. 35 man roster IDP league.

Doesn't seem like a bad offer at all. Both a getting drafted around the 5th rd an help has be going rd 1 of rookie drafts.
 
12 team PPR dynasty was offered Danny Woodhead yesterday for AJ Green. Came with a note that Woodhead would make a nice little combo wih Brady. When I declined he reoffered with Titus Young thrown in.

 
while many of the offers in this thread are bad there are some that i can't even tell which side is supposed to be the rip off.

 
Just got this offer:

I give Gronkowski and Branch to get Daniel Thomas. The capper? It's a PPR league, but the TE is 1.5PPR
