What is WIllis McGahee's trade value? (1 Viewer)

Unless you were holding McGahee before he was signed, which makes no sense, you're talking about scooping a guy up from waivers and then trying to sell him to someone right away for some value. Furthermore, it's not like McGahee is replacing someone who got hurt, thereby creating a need at RB for an owner. I mean, I guess Bradshaw owners, but still. People usually don't like giving anything up for a guy who was a FA 30 minutes ago.

 I have CJ Spiller, Ridley and MJD in one league, Rice, Bush and Lacy in another. Don't tell me McGahee needs to be some sort of handcuff before he can help my teams.

Willis McGahee didn’t participate in an NFL training camp or preseason and arrived in time for only one light workout with the Browns on Friday. Yet he will be active and receive some snaps as the Browns go to a back-by-committee in the first game after the Richardson trade. Even though he is a 10-year veteran with two surgically repaired knees, the Browns feel McGahee will hit the holes quicker than Richardson. But he can’t carry the full load with so little prep time. Chris Ogbonnaya no doubt will continue to be the third-down back. Richardson’s departure may give some extended play time to Bobby Rainey, who was a late waiver pickup from Baltimore after the final roster cuts and has yet to carry the ball.
