Founders Mosaic Promise

Glazen Toren Saison D'Erpe Mere

Off Color Apex Predator (which might be my favorite beer these days)

Revolution Unsessionable (this thing is pretty strong at 10%).

I had some incredible beers over the weekend between breaking out some beers from the cellar and going to a local brewpub called Colorado Plus that had a bunch of GABF medal-winning Colorado beers on tap:

Russian River Temptation wild blonde ale aged in chardonnay barrels

Casey Montmorency Cherry Fruit Stand wild saison aged in oak barrels

Cascade Sang Noir sour red ale aged in pinot noir and bourbon barrels with bing cherries

Oskar Blues Bourbon Barrel-Aged Ten FIDY imperial stout

Firestone Walker §ucaba barleywine aged in bourbon barrels

Comrade Superdamp IPA (in my opinion, the best IPA brewed in Colorado)

Broken Compass Coconut Porter (another one of my favorite Colorado beers brewed with 350 pounds of hand-roasted organic coconut)

CODA Sleepyhead Passion Fruit imperial kolsch

Spangalang Junction Brett wild ale brewed with peaches and wet-hopped with Chinook hops

Trinity Red Swingline session IPA aged in bourbon barrels with Brett

Anybody have Seirra Nevada's "Hop Hunter" IPA? I'll usually grab some Lagunitas (Love the Lil Sumptin Sumptin) over SN but I cannot get enough of this Hop Hunter stuff.

Michiganders, heading to Grand Rapids next weekend for my son's hockey tournament. I have a pretty large trade worked out with a local, primarily New Glarus for Shorts, but is there anything I should look for to purchase that I can't get in Wisconsin? I was thinking Odd Sides (Mayan Mocha) as well as Perrin, not sure what to get from Perrin. Also, does anyone know when Shorts Cup of Joe hits shelves? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know how easy they are to get in Wisc, but Founders recently released Breakfast Stout and Harvest Ale. They are both great. Bells released their 30th Anniversary Stout, but that's going to be really hard to get. I like all the Shorts IPAs, the fresh one now is Devils Lettuce. I'm not a big fan of Perrin or Oddside.

Went to pick up my weekend rations of Torpedo and noticed the Holiday Season has officially started now that Celebration has hit the shelves.

I actually prefer Torpedo, but I do love some Celebration compared to all the seasonal pumpkin and spiced crap you start seeing pop up around this time of year.

Born Yesterday: I friggin LOVE this stuff. Great hop profile, and super hoppy with the Mosaic giving that oh-so-delicious dankness right up front. Tastes like an IPA to me, and thats not a bad thing, I wish most beers tasted like IPAs.

A little steep at $14/six pack here, but Ill buy it as long as its available, as its better than any bottled or canned local beers. Im gonna go drink a couple more now.

I'll have to pick up some of that Born Yesterday. I've been hearing good buzz.
