What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

jeezus.. Skylord is gonna be :hammeredbanana: for a couple weeks.glllll
I don't live close enough to go more than once. But that once will be the 24th...
O/U on the # of beers you sample?
Start the under at 16
:o
What is your sample size?
Dunno. The 020202 is only a "sample size" but the rest of the beers could be full glasses. I'm banking on the fact that the wife will be drinking also and we'll be purchasing different beers so that we can try as many different ones as possible. I'm hoping that Stone World Bistro offers some sort of Sampler tray like most breweries do. If they offer all the beers in smaller servings then 16 will be easy to hit. If not then 16 is roughly 8 pints each which could be tough but doable.

Went to the Anchor Christmas Party tonight at the brewery. My buddy's dad is a distributor and we got the nod. This s one awesome spread.

Had 6 10oz '06 xMas Ales <------ Best anchor brew IMO.

1 10 oz '05

1 10 oz '04

2 10oz Anchor Porter

1 Old foghorn

All beer on tap. Its impossibble to find the porter and foghorn on tap. Also a crapload of great food. All for free. got to tour the brewery and spent some time in the hops room. Man, the smell is mouthwatering.

Great Night,

Back home and cracked a RR Sanctification to kick the tastebuds in a total polar opposite direction.

:loco:

Hey Fro, Im ready to do that trade we talked about a while back if you are....Ill send a St Bernardus 60th, and I dont remember what you offered....something from Russian River (any will do...Ive never had a RR beer).

I gotta send Furleys replacement BOTM package out next week so if youre ready I can send em both out at the same time

Never? It's not really all that good. Highly over-rated. Fro should just send it to me.

Finaly drank the Talon Barleywine from Mendocino brewing a couple of nights ago and it wasn't bad but not one of my favorite BW's. Tonight I might crack open one of my newly acquired brews. Finally broke down and ordered some Russian River and I now have 2 Salvations, 2 Temptations, and a pair of Damnations and just have to choose my first victim.

I am drinking a Whiskey coke. :bag: Been a long time.
Being that close to heaven, you would think you'd go for some Hell Hath No Fury or Cherry Stout.
I have those all the time... actually not a huge fan of either. My order is Hopslam, Love Wheat Ale, Two Hearted, Expedition, Kalamazoo Stout, Oberon, Cherry Stout, Hell Hath, Best Brown, Amber, Pale Ale... then others (have yet to buy a Third Coast Old Ale). I do have a few Cherry Stouts laying around as well as a Hell Hath, but like I said, I would enjoy those others first.I won't argue with Heaven though!

FYI, 3 liter bottles of Damnation added to the Russian River Store.
 That would make for one nice night.
I have 3 liter bottles of Stone 10th and Corsendonk Christmas in the basement along with a Russian River Temptation en route. Can't wait for opportunities to crack em.
well if you can't crack them soon, send em my way. I am sure I can find an occasion.
We will see. Maybe I will bring one along for DL Day.

Town Hall just became a tad better!!! They are going to put on Scaldis Noel 2003 as a guest beer. Sometimes I just love living here.

furley, what's on tap for review #100?
whoa. ahh.. i didn't know i was sitting on #99. i'd have chilled a Dreadnaught. no clue. this Pelican India Pelican Ale might be it for me tonite. i'm fighting the flu and have had a half a pizza in the last 3 days. this first 1/4 of the bottle is kicking my ###.#100 might be tomorrow.

I am a big fan of the India Pelican Ale. I hope you are getting the full flavor cause it's quite good.

Tastes even better at the source.:brokenrecord:I had my fill on Golden Monkeys, Brutal Bitters, and Corsendonks last night. Tonight I am warming myself up with a ginger ale and whiskey.

one of these years me and the missus are going to make our way to the Pac NW for a vacation. i've been wanting to hit Oregon for years.
