The pour is almost black with a slightly red tint to it. Smell is very interesting. Fruity, an sour, I think... THe taste is much of the same, sour fruits. A lot like wine or a winecooler Ok drinkable, if you like this style.

Did you see the BA Mag? The Brothers, not that I like them, rated three Surly beers. They went so far to say Darkness was the best RIS brewed in the US.I'll save you the effort.
