Looks like BTG is truly dead ####### banana. That pisses me off. We had plenty of quality content there I was hoping to keep even if we migrated elsewhere. What we'll do from here is follow up on the suggestions and offers in this thread lately to put up another board on our own site. So maybe we can make lemonade with these lemons and get motivated to get onto our site after this setback.

Organized Chaos offered to help out a while back. I forwarded PM exchange to NG and TT. Any thoughts? I looked into it and it seems better than the freebie phpbb. Cost would be $5/month and well worth avoiding freebie phpbb.

Also, I have some family issues to attend to this week and into the middle of next week. So my access will be limited starting tomorrow I think. So a new board will have to wait until then. I'll do what I can tomorrow though, so maybe TT and Chaos can get it going in the meantime.

I have a big conference tomorrow, so probably won't be able to do much until tomorrow night. Might be able to do some stuff today if you can get the stuff arranged that OC asked us for.

I changed the nameservers to the ones he sent me. So that's been done. He said it might take up to 24 hours to fully happen.But it's ***Official***, the migration to a new home for the BeerThreadGuys is under way. We will henceforth be known as The Beer Spot though. So get used to the new name. We will also have to necessarily start from scratch this time. Which sucks given the volume and quality of the content. But it also gives us a chance to change anything that needed updating or revising.

Hopefully some time soon, The Beer Spot will be live. No clue when we can get the message board and stuff going but soon.

IIRC, it was 4 12ozers, but 2 bombers wouldn't fly.. something like 46 ozs or something out there.
