Jesus...hop fest 2014 at the Ditka place. Lol. Resist the 9.5% of the Unicorn, man...Gonna go with Blind Pig in this one. Not really fair to Hop Drop I guess.
Not sure how I am going to top this. I do have a Heady. Unicorn Rock Bottom...
Asked a guy at Cycle and he said its unfiltered, and has no wheat malt. They use some light grains though...not many IPAs this light on color. Oddly enough, they have a wheat IPA on right now, I tasted it and it has a completely different taste and feel...the wheat is pretty obvious.Based on the picture it looks like Crank is pretty darn hazy. Lots of suspended yeast or do they use a bit of wheat malt in there?
That was some good advice I should have listened too.Jesus...hop fest 2014 at the Ditka place. Lol. Resist the 9.5% of the Unicorn, man...Gonna go with Blind Pig in this one. Not really fair to Hop Drop I guess.

I decided to call it quits last night after a few and left the big ABV beers in the fridge.Tell me more. What is this expo?I was out of town for the Alpine Expo release. Thought it was a last cause. Luckily a friend hooked it up! Drinking a whole bomber right now. Mmmmmm....
Yeah Odd Side is ok, but I've never been overly impressed by any of their beers. They somehow got hooked into the right distributors though and their beers are popping up everywhere.Wingnut said:In Michigan, drinking an Odd Sides Citra pale ale. Not as Citra-y as I thought it would be. Not a bad beer though. Also have a Green Flash Citra session IPA for after dinner.
Exponential Hoppiness. It is my second favorite beer to Nelson. They make it twice a year. They used to do growlers, but then they saw some on Ebay and said they'd never do growlers again. It is big juicy hoppy beast at around 11%.Tell me more. What is this expo?I was out of town for the Alpine Expo release. Thought it was a last cause. Luckily a friend hooked it up! I find Huma to be one of the more bitter IPAs out there. It destroys your taste buds.Enjoying a Shorts Huma Lupa Licious IPA. Good beer, but I'm so used to the tropical fruitiness of Florida IPAs, when I drink these non tropical ones, the hops are like a 2x4 to the face...In a good way though.
Sounds awesome. I loved the Pure Hoppiness you sent so I imagine the Expo is pretty amazing.Exponential Hoppiness. It is my second favorite beer to Nelson. They make it twice a year. It is still on tap at the pub along with two other rare treats of theirs Good (15% barley wine that has tons of late hops (not bittering). It is a sweet delicious insta drunk) and Bad Boy (a phenomenal DIPA with Marris Otter malts). Needless to say, I am heading there for dinner in a few hours. Their BBQ is as good as their beer.

You're one of "those guys" nowBuckfast 1 said:I just picked up a bottle of Cantillon Iris dry-hopped lambic. My local liquor store in Denver called me to let me know that they had a bottle reserved for me. My excessive spending on beer is really starting to pay dividends for me.
lol you're in London, not Istanbul.Efes Pilsner
Nice score. How much?Buckfast 1 said:I just picked up a bottle of Cantillon Iris dry-hopped lambic. My local liquor store in Denver called me to let me know that they had a bottle reserved for me. My excessive spending on beer is really starting to pay dividends for me.

I did drink a TON of that while in Turkey though. It's everywhere.
Have you drank the Crank yet?Picked up a couple of sixers of Zombie Dust today. Bottled 3 days ago....I can feel a good one coming on.
