My parents owned a B&B in Albany WI, about 15 miles SE of New Glarus for 7-8 years. I loved stopping by there to pick up a few sixers of Spotted Cow while I visited them over Christmas or during the summer. Also liked their Edil Pils and Uff-da Bockmy main office is out of clinton wisc. i love this beer.I miss me some Spotted Cow. Can't get it down here in the South.

Thomas Creek Pumphouse Porter. Not bad. I didn't like it the first time I had a bottle or two a month or so ago but maybe I just wasn't in the mood for something that heavy.

I love Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but I really don't care for all the other beers they make. The Porter, the Xmas Ales, just nothing else does it for me. A company called Pyramid which apparently has zero presence here in FL but when I lived in SoCal it was a very popular wheat beer, anyways that company made a special Xmas beer called Snowcaps and it was delicious.

You should give Torpedo a shot. Their seasonal brews are also awesome. The Harvest and Wet ales that come in 22oz bombers are some of the best deals going assuming you get them fairly fresh.

Great beer and great brewery. I am in WI this weekend and plan to bring as many New Glarus beers as possible since they don't sell in IL.

Albertson's started selling a beer from Holland called Gouden Haven. They are selling it for $11.99 a 12-pack. I really like it.
