Good to hear the Proprietors is still doing well. Pretty sure they projected it was gonna fade fast, so it was a "drink now" BCS variant. At least I think that was the Proprietors...maybe the Bramble? I think it was the Proprietors that they said that though. I've only had a taster of it.

Stopped at 7venth Sun in Dunedin, FL last night and tried:
Time Bomb IPA dry hopped with Nelson and Citra
Mangrove Double IPA
Intergalactic session IPA w/Galaxy hops
Grafitti Orange Creamsicle Wheat
Zombie Killer Cherry Cyser
Also picked up a bottle of Bretta Off Dead for later.
The Time Bomb is INSANE, and the Mangrove is damn good and juicy as #### (almost 10% ABV)

God I wish I lived closer to this brewery.
Between here, Cigar City, and Cycle Brewing in St Pete, Tampa Bay finally has some serious players in the craft beer game...unfortunately Rapp and Cycle will probably stay small scale and won't bottle/can their beers...
However...I'm picking up a couple of growlers @ Rapp to ship to a FBG and the bartender is capping them so they make the trip with no leakage...ya gotta love that.

Anyone who visits Tampa Bay and wants excellent beer needs to put Cigar City (of course), Rapp, and Cycle on their must visit list.
Doug, the head brewer at Cycle, worked at Cigar City for years before going in his own with Cycle.

The lineup seems to change slightly for each Migration Week event. In Denver this week, they have generally been doing a tap takeover with their flagship beers, their Sisters line of wild ales (Juliet, Lolita, Gillian, Halia, Matilda Lambicus, etc.), and a couple variations of their Bourbon County line (BCBS, BC Coffee, BC Vanilla, and/or Proprietor's). Goose Island has been posting the lineup for each event on their Facebook page a day or two before the event.Thank you. I would like this 10x if I could. Still awesome, but I see it all the time at Pizza Port and always skip it. I like to call it Pliny the Settler. I think their best year round hoppy beer is Row 2 Hill 56.I drink most IPAs on tap or out of growlers. Fresh is best and local is king. Anything from Alpine or the Pizza Ports are my first choices with Neslon being my A numero uno.

Barrel aged is a whole different genre. I haven't really liked the Barrel Rolls. Too West Coast-y. Hoppy and hot.
Bigfoot and Old Foghorn are actually great too though. I think I was thinking specifically of San Diego when I posted. Old Foghorn might be one of the most underrated beers of all time.

I'm really enjoying big brown, nutty ales lately.
Had a couple of Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectars and a Piney River Black Walnut Wheat (Missouri) last night. Preferred the Rogue...little smoother and nuttier.

Just got back from LA on business, but lots of LA and SF buddies. West coast is the best coast for beer. We've got some tasty locals though here in the Carolinas (NoDa, Westbrook, Coast, others).
