What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (5 Viewers)

Awesome, we're driving past the brewery the day the Double DBA comes out, hoping to get some of that too

Last night had all kinds of stuff. Mostly local to Chicago.

Wet Hot American Wheat - one of my favorites while grilling

Daisy Cutter

Vallejo IPA

Space Station Middle Finger

Kona Castaway IPA (not local, obviously)

And Revolution Citra Hero. . So good. They had 3 left at the local store last night. Going to see if they are still there and if so going to buy all 3.

Just picked up 4 growlers of Nelson and a Pure Hoppiness.
Want to send me one of the Nelson's for any NC beer? Where are you exactly? SD? Looking like I'll be in Hermosa Beach/LA Wed Night. Prob head to Mediterreaneo, always impressed with their beer list and food
I'd be happy to send you some bottles. Growlers are a pain to ship though. I think I have a 3 bottle shipper sitting around. Next time I go out there I can grab you one each of Duet. Nelson, and Pure Hoppiness. You can paypal me or ship me beer back.

I'm in Ocean Beach, btw. Don't get up to LA very often.

I had a pretty solid weekend of drinking in Kentucky over the 4th of July weekend.

My brother and I put away three 64 oz growlers of Founders Breakfast Stout, which was an exciting find at a Liquor Barn in rural Kentucky.

I also had a North Coast bourbon barrel-aged Old Rasputin XV, Founders Devil Dancer, Sixpoint Resin and Bengali Tiger, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Stout, and a bunch of other random assorted stuff from mix-a-six packs.

And a bottle of Angel's Envy bourbon.

Olde Harpsichord Abbey Rye Double IPA

Break It To Me Gently Grapefruit Grilled Salmon Milk Stout

Stella

Julio Cesar Chavez Knockout Punch Ice Brewed Lager

Haargenbjergensteinenmeisterhummells Pilsner

At mikkeller bar in San Fran

Alpine hoppy birthday

8wired saison sauvin

Alpine hoppy birthday

They have a fresh keg of aroma coma but it's foaming. Bummed.

Hoppy birthday best hoppy session beer I've had. Could drink that and westbrook gose all day every day

BCCS

BC Proprietor

BC Backyard Rye, wait is this a cherry rye???

BCCS 2012

Heaven.

Thank you. I would like this 10x if I could. What's the lineup like?
The lineup seems to change slightly for each Migration Week event. In Denver this week, they have generally been doing a tap takeover with their flagship beers, their Sisters line of wild ales (Juliet, Lolita, Gillian, Halia, Matilda Lambicus, etc.), and a couple variations of their Bourbon County line (BCBS, BC Coffee, BC Vanilla, and/or Proprietor's). Goose Island has been posting the lineup for each event on their Facebook page a day or two before the event.
Awesome event, thanks the info. I had a blast in Ann Arbor.

Hermosa Beach:

- Bruery Hottenroth

- Stone Delicious

- taster Ballast Pt Big Eye w/ Fresh Ginger from Cask

- taster Allagash Red Howes

- Deschutes Abyss

I'm glad you got to experience it! That lineup of Bourbon County beers is just insane. Where was the event hosted at in Ann Arbor? I lived there for three years.

Heidelberg. It's at World of Beer tonight but the lineup isn't as good. Those beers were so outstanding. I'm sad that Proprietors is a one off and I won't likely ever come across it again.

Ah, Heidelberg. I had many a nights drinking from Das Boot there back when I was in school.

Did you get to try the Backyard Rye? What did you think? It's one of the few BC variants I haven't gotten my hands on yet.

The Proprietor's really was fantastic.

Not a huge fan of the backyard rye, found it cloyingly sweet. Prefers the regular BCBS and all other different versions. If you like really sweet, it'd be awesome. Fruit definitely came through

I think I did. It tasted like chocolate cherry. I know they have made a cherry rye so I was confused as to what it was. Their FB post said Backyard. The thing was poorly set-up. The wait staff and bartenders didn't know what anything was. They said they didn't even know there was anything going on until the GI people showed up 30 mins before it started. I could have asked the GI staff, but didn't feel like wading through the crowd to find them.

I found a website with Ninja vs Unicorn for a reasonable price. I just wonder how fresh it is? Anyone know when it was last made? How often do they brew it?

Yep $24 and some change.

$2 a beer I can live with that.
Yeah, that's not bad at all now that I think about it. My buddy was shocked at the price and I didn't give it a second thought because I was going to buy it anyway unless I hear good things first. That's $4 per bomber equivalent. Awesome deal really, if it is good beer.

It's cool to see 2 cans of beer mixed with the other 10 bottles when you open the 12 pack.

Cigar City White Oak Dragon Fruit IPA - a single keg special release.
Your gut is gonna be huge by the first game of the season. You'll be Kendall Hunter quick.
Tell me this isn't a thing of beauty.http://i.imgur.com/hPwSGJD.jpg
Sure looks a lot better than this:

:lmao: Where you been, man?
I've been stoking steam over at the IRS thread. Dudes there need fresh towels after slapping each other's rear ends. I do my part for the FFA.

Other than that, just a long break from work. Now to get some beer.

Went to an Evil Twin tasting on Wednesday. Good beers but really not much to write home about.

They did have a Unity Bourbon Barrel Peach Kombucha Beer that was exceptional.

And my first taste of Westbrook Mexican Cake. Only got like 6 oz (2 pours), but it was glorious. Believe the hype. One of the local places got a keg of it, apparently...they're planning some sort of special event....I hope to be there.

Went to the store, bought whiskey instead, now wishing I had bought an Arrogant ******* or Fuller's ESB to chase with it.

Looks like I may have to go back after a drink.
