Another vote for beeradvocate. However for tracking what I drink I like Untappd the best.So do I.I prefer it over ratebeer....better UI, easier to navigate, and I like the rating system better. Neither site sucks IMO.

2 totally different beers though. ZD is balanced and malty, Crank is pure Citra hop juice, IMO. I hope the hops in the Crank haven't faded, I'm drinking one right now that was filled 9/8 and its not quite as tropical/fruity/juicy as it is when fresh.Eta: for best results, let the Crank warm up a bit...when it shakes off the cold it hits its stride, IMO.
Eta again: still have the Heady? You should add it in!
3rd edit: the Crank I'm drinking just opened up and the juiciness came back since it warmed up.

I would describe Crank as a Dust-lite. In that I think Zombie is a little heavier but not much. Still a great beer that I can see being perfect in the Florida heat.
The smell on both of these is almost identical awesomeness.
The question now is if I go on a mission to Three Floyds for some Broodoo bombers....has to be soon though since I've only had these two.
Nah. Will wait and enjoy the Alpha Kings I just got. Maybe tomorrow.
Also picked up a Cherry Truffle Abduction for STOUT season.

Yeah the Crank is less malty, more grassy...but as it warms it gets maltier. Close to cellar temp is when I really love it. Dust light is how I see it too. Dust is definitely heavier due to the malts...I hope you let it warm up, its so much better when allowed to open up.

PF pours a clear amber...with an aggressive head that rose above the rim on its own...smells sinister.
Wow. First impression is malty with lots of hops...almost a creamy mouthfeel. Holy hell this is a well crafted beer. I'm gonna try to not plow through this too quick...its a beer that is to be savored. A little heat from the ABV. This beer let's you know its not to be taken lightly.
Excellent offering from 3F, but based on ratings/reviews I expected nothing less. Thanks, dood. Awesome beer so far.

I had a pretty epic night at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver last night. If you love beer, then you should definitely make the pilgrimage out to Denver for GABF weekend. Here is a list of some of the standouts for me:
Cigar City - Hunahpu's imperial stout with cocoa nibs, vanilla beans, chile peppers, and cinnamon, Guava Grove sour ale with guava
Wicked Weed - Everything was fantastic from Wicked Weed. I really enjoyed the Freak of Nature imperial IPA, Mampara honey wine, Serenity brett saison, and Oblivion sour red.
Goose Island - Bourbon County Coffee, Bourbon County Backyard Rye
Funky Buddha - Nikolai Vorhaus bourbon barrel-aged Russian imperial stout
Russian River - Supplication brown sour ale aged in oak with cherries, Pliny the Elder
Fat Heads - Hop Juju imperial IPA
Avery - Opuntia sour ale aged in tequila barrels with prickly pear, Rumpkin pumpkin ale aged in rum barrels

Just went to the local dive store. It's a place you would expect that they would sell high life and crap like that.
Picked up a Broodoo, an 18th Street Jade and some Heyoka ipa. They had about 2 cases of Dust on the shelf but I have a bunch.
Really looking forward to the Broodoo and Heyoka.
And yes...I have a beer buying problem. Only one full fridge so not close to Sebowski so I don't feel as bad.

Lol.This PF ain't so tough...I'm making good headway...I think making it my 2nd beer of the night was the shark move. Lol. Had I saved it til the end of the night I probably not only would have regretted it, I may not have remembered it tomorrow.
Yes I was. Paid a few dollars more for it at the store but figured that is time/gas.

Its work but not as much as I thought. Took a little bit of cash to start up and do it right, but its pretty fun and I can't wait to see how my first beer turns out.Ill admit I didn't really do it to save cash, hell I spent close to $400 for equipment etc to get it going...I got into it by accident...I always thought it was too technical and over my head til a friend bought me a 1 gallon starter kit...when I gave it a shot and screwed it up royally I decided its not as complicated as I thought and I wanted to do it just to prove I could, and now I'm hooked.
I'll still buy/trade for lots of beer but there's something about watching a beer go from a simple recipe to drinkable brew. Its kind of like when I used to grow weed back in the day...its just a fun hobby that is rewarding to see something start from nothing and turn into something I really enjoy.

Everything you just said is why I don't homebrew. As for comparing it to weed, my friends that grow weed have thousands in fans, lighting, AC units, etc.

When I brew a #### beer I agree with this but it's fun to brew. I only do extract and brew day is with friends and all the bombers come out. It's fun. When you make a good one you will reach for those as much as the others.
If I went to all grain and I may now that I understand the fermentation process and temps better it may feel like work since it takes longer. But it's rewarding.
Have a rye ipa that will be ready to keg Sunday. So far it seems like it will be ok even though the fermentation temps got too high. Thing I dodged a bullet and if it comes out ok I will feel great since I fought to get the temps down. It also makes me appreciate good beer even if they have equipment I can't afford.

There is no doubt that I am missing a number of great beers that I just don't remember. I luckily timed my complete blackout to occur right around the time I was leaving the festival, but the last few regions I visited are definitely pretty blurry. I had a pretty solid game plan of breweries/beers to hit going into the festival, so I remember the top beers that did not disappoint on my GABF hit list.

Loved it the first time I had it this summer and felt the same tonight. They changed the label though....was a really cool looking dominatrix but now it's some goofy looking Monsters Inc Mike the monster looking thing.

I went to both Societe and Pizza Port last night. They were both fantastic. I almost put both of them on my list posted here but I was having difficulty remembering the names of the beers I tried. Pizza Port had a bunch. I also looked for Alpine (based on the buzz in the beer community and all of your positive feedback on here), but they didn't have a booth at GABF. I was disappointed because I really want to try their stuff.
