What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (5 Viewers)

Went to my neighbors for a minute...when I got back I walked into the aroma of beer brewing...there's nothing like it. #SoCool

Missed the backwoods ******* release today...they're putting out some more tomorrow though so hopefully I can get some
Not sure how much you guys are getting but I got the last 4 pack out of 5 cases at my local store earlier tonight. Gonna crack one now.

Plus the guy said he might actually get some KBS next spring :banned: :pickle:

On the first list I would lean Two Hearted or Breakfast Stout. The growler of Breakfast Stout will pack a punch though.
GL Christmas Ale is very tasty too.Drinking 51st Ward East Clintwood
I agree on Christmas but it's too early imo. Never heard of 51st ward. Do tell.
Apparently a small brewery out of Westmont. The East Clintwood is a wet hopped harvest Ale using Citra and Simcoe. Thought it was really good, a little more malt than I typically like but really enjoyed it.

Place by me had at least 4 or 5 cases on the floor.
The hole in the wall place where I usually find my "hard to get" beers such as Zombie Dust still has last year's Backwoods *******.

2nd round of Backwoods today at 1. 7 cases and 2 packs per person maximum. Sold out in 5 minutes.

I got there about 1:10 and got lucky that a 4 pack got misplaced and they found it amongst some other beers and I was able to get one.

never too early for that Christmas ale. We were a week late to the party but got a case this week. Had a few during the browns game and just cracked open another one.

When it's Halloween and Christmas Ale is on the shelf, it's too early. But that's just my opinion.

Depends on where you live IMO. If its really cold, I'd welcome an Xmas Ale...living in FL, I don't even bother with the seasonals much.

You're fighting an uphill battle. They had Pumking out in the middle of August. If anyone in Chicago wants some Pumking they still have it at the Jewel at Clark and Division. But it ain't as good as last year.

I was able to grab 2 4 packs today but it sold out pretty quick...probably 15 people lined up for 5 cases (they went through 9 cases yesterday I guess)

I just choose to drink Christmas Ale after Thanksgiving. Personal preference is all. I do make hypocritical exceptions for Celebration from Sierra Nevada and Alpha Klaus.

I had an interesting array of flavorful beers last night:

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Odell Dr. Acula black ale aged in oak barrels

Breakside Bourbon Barrel Aztec strong ale with cocoa nibs and chiles aged in bourbon barrels

Prairie Bomb! imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers

Stillwater Of Love and Regret saison with heather, chamomile, lavender, and dandelion
Damn those all sound great.
