That would be sweet if we could get Alpine anywhere I can get Green Flash
Hell yes it would beThat would be sweet if we could get Alpine anywhere I can get Green Flash
More of a merger...sounds like a win-win situation for both breweries as well as beer drinkers.I'm still hoping to try some Alpine brews one of these days...my buddy in SD is turning out to be pretty unreliable.
Wanted to like this post but that doesn't feel right.Gonna have to tip one tonight for Finless.
:(
Next time I end up with a shipper I'll hook you up.More of a merger...sounds like a win-win situation for both breweries as well as beer drinkers.I'm still hoping to try some Alpine brews one of these days...my buddy in SD is turning out to be pretty unreliable.Green Flash acquires Alpinehttp://m.utsandiego.com/news/2014/nov/10/green-flash-alpine-merge/

Please wait until Chicago gets their allocation. We appreciate your patience. The Green Flash-Alpine deal is really exciting. I want Nelson and Pure Hoppiness at my local stores,
I hope they allocate the beers based on quality of the local NFL team.ditka311 said:Please wait until Chicago gets their allocation. We appreciate your patience.Ilov80s said:The Green Flash-Alpine deal is really exciting. I want Nelson and Pure Hoppiness at my local stores,

I really like it as well, better than Daisy Cutter to be honest. If you can find the 51st Ward East Clintwood give that a try, it's pretty good and it's out of Westmont. They actually were asking for helping bottling over the weekend of Halloween...you help bottle you get free beer. What do you think of the Heyoka? I am a big fan of this stuff. Stopped at S Loop on way home from work since the Binnys out here was allocated one case and it was gone immediately. I think they have about 7 cases on the floor there at S Loop.
Also, I am seeing Backwoods ******* all over the place.
I will keep my eye out for 51st Ward. Thanks for the heads up.I really like it as well, better than Daisy Cutter to be honest. There was a ton of Backwoods at my shop on Friday, when I stopped by today to get the Flavor Memory Response they still had a ton of it.
Cool, wasn't sure how fast it went and didn't want to risk a crappy sixer. I'll head back tomorrow to grab a six pack.11/3
Hell yes. You should always be good inside 30 days.
I'm amazed at how much hops I see on the shelf that's 3+ months old. Furious, founders, two hearted......really sucks.
I personally only drink beers that are one week old or less.Cool, wasn't sure how fast it went and didn't want to risk a crappy sixer. I'll head back tomorrow to grab a six pack.11/3

How hard are these to find right now?I really liked both the BBA Aztec and the Bomb!, but the Bomb! was my clear favorite. I thought the Bomb! was more complex with bolder flavors than the Aztec. I also think that I would probably prefer the base beer of the Bomb! over that of the Aztec. The BBA Aztec was really good as well, but I thought the chocolate flavors tended to dominate the beer and somewhat overwhelmed the bourbon barrel and chile character. How'd the BBA Aztec compare to the bomb??I had an interesting array of flavorful beers last night:
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA
Odell Dr. Acula black ale aged in oak barrels
Breakside Bourbon Barrel Aztec strong ale with cocoa nibs and chiles aged in bourbon barrels
Prairie Bomb! imperial stout aged on espresso beans, chocolate, vanilla beans, and ancho chile peppers
Stillwater Of Love and Regret saison with heather, chamomile, lavender, and dandelion
As long as that is the canned date, not the "best by" date. Some breweries do best by dates. Hate those. So I ran into some Unsessionable tonight but it had a date of 11/3/14 on the bottom of the can. Think it's still good and would still be good in my fridge for a week or two?
Think with Rev it's a best by date....since the other cans of Fistmas had Feb 4 2015 on them.As long as that is the canned date, not the "best by" date. Some breweries do best by dates.
