On a side note, I'm going to pick up that Okocim in the next couple of minutes. Tonight is pool night, so I'll be out having a few beers tonight. I'm hoping to see the Sierra Nevada Toronado Ale on tap tonight (supposed to be like the Celebration). I'm hoping that I can pack your beer tonight depending on when I get home.
Yeah, I was looking back on that and just yearning for them to have another one. I only listed a small portion of what was there. They had over 300 different casks. The last few years, they haven't been able to find a location where they could get the liquor permits that they need. I really really hope they get it straight for 2007, but I have a feeling that this is one festival that won't happen again. :(

That was about when I really started paying attention - before that I had just luckily been gravitating towards the easy-to-find good beer, not searching out the harder-to-find better beer.
This weekend is the Organic Brewer's Festival. My inlaws are coming in next week, so I'm hoping I can get a few hrs in while prepping for the invasion.

that's a Dark Lord 2006 and a Westvleteren 12 in the past couple weeks.. i'll probably hold off on them for a minimum of 1 year until i can really appreciate what i'm drinking.it's sorta like handing the keys of a Bentley to a 16-year old. i really don't know what the #### i'm getting in to just yet.
forgot to add, the Westy cap is stamped "14.09.07"
be a nice almost-32nd birthday present.

Dude,Aren't those all AB products? Not sure why you're so excited. ####, you can probably ride your 10-speed down to the Piggly Wiggly down State Route 48 to get those. It figures though. Not like you sent him anything worth a #### either.

I was thinking these exact thoughts as I was drinking this beer.Fact of the matter is, when you expand distribution you expand your output. When you expand your output, new equipment and bulk ingredients are required. New equipment and ingredients are bound to change the flavor of your beer.
Thats why Stone is brilliant. How are they handling their expansion? Hire a brewer from the most widely spread and consistent brewery in the world...Budweiser. This guy knows consistency. Its a bit of egg on their face from an anti macrobrew standpoint, but from a business standpoint its friggin brilliant.

Just finished a GI Imp IPA. I can literally smell this beer for hours. Even when it's empty, this bottle smells great.

I have since added literally case if Imperial, as well as a few others from the local Binny's. Feel free to look it up. The beers are all from Two Brothers, GI, Founders, Berghoff, and a couple others.Look it up.Truth time:I have 120+ beers in the basement along the lines of GI Imperial.
