What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (1 Viewer)

Ok George, your morbid curiousity made me do something I really didn't want to do. Face how much beer I have. So I just got home and did a count.

1 Keg

1 Growler

7 750ml bottles

10 22oz bombers

251 12oz

Damn, I need to stop buying beer.
Are you gonna list the names or what?
Jeebus. Skylord wants a detailed inventory. Better include the Born On dating on all those Bud Lite bottles too.
I'd prefer alphabetical then chronological but just the names will suffice :D

Come on furley, take a drive to MN and help another BIFer out. Not all of this stuff is cellar like brew. I need to get to it!
Dude, the door is open. Beer Shang-gri-la awaits.
Furley's too "Hillbilly" to figure that out. Might want to spell that out for him.Hint: He's from Green Bay.

Can't Furley DRIVE from Green Bay to Minneapolis in 45 minutes?ETA: Green Bay doesn't have anything. He'd have to drive to Milwaukee then take a flight to Minneapolis.

That's WHY they have a football team. Think "captured audience".

World Cup starts tomorrow!!!! I have a half-day on Monday so I can go watch USA-CZE at 11am Central. Going to watch it at an English brewpub downtown. Can not wait!

Also looking forward to the Sat and Sun games. Gives me an excuse to whittle down my beer supply starting at 11am.

8am?!?!?! What the #### timezone are you in?Or have I just not looked at the Saturday schedule yet?

I'm gonna say I haven't looked.

To get back to topic, having a Founders Red Rye right now.
Nice, you should like it.
Very nice beer. A little sweeter than I expected, but not in a bad way at all. This is something I could drink a lot of. Picked up the Founders Imperial Stout too. Everything I have had so far from them has been very good.

8 AM saturday morning, guy. shake off that hangover and watch!there are also games at 10 and 12 i believe.

Double Simcoe IPA. :D

Had a Rogue Integrity IPA (limited release). A 100% amarillo IPA, with a pretty pail malt backbone. Still very good, and shows off the hops well.
I was diggin' the Double Simcoe the other day. Definitely a brewery making serious strides.
I think it was in this thread, but someone mentioned that this brewery is hit or miss, and I would have to agree. The Double Simcoe though, is the best thing I have seen out of the brewery.

So should I expect someone knocking on my door this weekend?
How's Saturday at 2pm sound?
Should be home from work, but I work again at 4:30 Sunday morning. :(
what the #### do you do for a living man? jeebus.
Warehouse Manager in a Distribution Center that does home deliveries.
If you say "for beer deliveries" in that job description, then you are my hero. Otherwise, I think you're Furley's hero. But for entirely "other" reasons.

Nope, we delivery Appliances and TVs out of the warehouse. I work for a company that many people on this board seem to hate.

So, I was going through some of my old stuff and found tasting menu from the 2003 Real Ale Festival in Chicago that I went to. Thought it would be interesting to see what was there. This was towards the beginning of my entry into craft beer, so I really didn't know what to make sure to taste or anything. Also I am sure my taste buds have changed a ton. I made no tasting notes except next to Rogue Smoke I wrote "worst beer ever". That must have been the beer that I thought tasted like fish way back when that turned me off of smoked beers. Anyways I thought I would list what I marked as tasted (yeah, I know it's a lot) and beers that I regret not tasting. Here goes...
