What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (5 Viewers)

man i wish i had regular access to 750s of the St B's. that might be all i drank.
I have so many of these at home I can't even walk without knocking one over. They are so plentiful for me that I use them to wash my hands after I go to the bathroom. Also use them to rinse off vegetables in the kitchen sink.
I will help you with that problem next time I am in Chicago. :banned:
Update: Looks like I will be in Chicago Sunday night through Wednesday afternoon. :banned:
I am sooooo sorry. But you quoted your own post. We can't hang out. Woulda been nice too. I have beer. You like beer. Such a great fit. But you broke the rules. Sucks to be you. :bye:

Drinking my first Dreadnaught right now. Smells like GI Imperial. Which is a great thing, as Imp is one of my personal favorites. I'll report back if I survive the experience. But so far this is a beer worthy of grabbing more.

It gets those high ratings for a reason.

I think I will be ok either way. I want to hit the Hopleaf, Map Room, and maybe a trip to Three Floyds. Might try to hit up Two Brothers too. Who knows.

Some Sam Adams Dark Lager.
I'm drinking the Boston Lager.
Me too. It's a midweek "thing". Lots of mid-week Sam Adams.Home now with a 6 pack of Paulaner and some work that's "due". :bye:
####. I've got a pile of work in my laptop bag that I would have forgotten if it wasn't for this post. I don't know whether to thank you or curse you.

Curse me. I can take it. I have a 16 page spreadsheet due "by the 15th." I figure I have 2+ hours to do it.

Awesome. You better get in a couple Paulaner's to lubricate the fingers before you start. All I have to do is proofread a publication. I hear booze is great for attention to detail.

Weyerbacher Hops Infusion coming up. First Weyerbacher beer to date.
Wonder if it's the old or new recipe. The old wasn't all too impressive. Apparently the new one is.
7X not 4X. Which is which?
Beats me. Bakes? The new bottle has a blue label instead of yellow. But...the new recipe has been bottled with the old yellow label. Guess they had some yellow labels to get rid of. I've been waiting to find the blue labels to be sure I have the new recipe.

Its the yellow label. No dating as far as I can tell. I liked it. Didn't suck. My review if you want to check it out.

Well done. The new label makes my mouth water.

Anybody home tonight?

I've got a Snoqualmie IPA and Porter, and a Saison DuPont sitting in the fridge. Gonna go get one here before too long, and I'm trying to decide. Think I may want to save the Saison for a dinner, but it is calling the loudest from the fridge.
Just personal preference as a hop head, but I would go with the IPA.

Going for a Hair of the Dog Fred. Prep myself for a Fred from the Wood soon..
I grabbed six bottles of Fred this week since Hair of the Dog will no longer be distributing in MN. What's left on the shelves is it. Should I buy the 3 litre of Fred at Blue Max???

I gotta find out what they are charging for it. It is batch 20 too. I would also have to find enough people to drink that with me some time. ;)

Yeah, its really good. A 3 litre bottle would hurt you though, its 10%

Just got home from Michigan. Drank a few Leinie Reds on the plane and now Im going to bed - Im exhausted.

Ill be back tomorrow

Still up

I brought back a case of Kuhnhenn Rasp Eisbock (I have 22 left) and about a mixed case of 12oz (some Bells, Arcadia, Great Lakes, Founders, Dark Horse, New Holland, Stoudts....but mostly Bells)

I brought it ALL back in our carry on luggage on the plane :excited: 49 bottles of beer on the plane.....49 bottles of beer.... :suds:

I mailed my clothes to myself last week so I could fit all those bottles in the 4 pieces of carry on me and the gf had. The lady that x-rayed my bags was pretty amazed that I had that many bottles :bag:

Needless to say Im gonna be trying alot of beers in the coming week or so. I only tried about 5 or 6 new ones while there and the rest Ill sample in the near future.

Is it legal to transport beer that way? I know most companies can't ship beer to TN (where I live) so I wasn't sure if I could carry myself.

Going to NYC in November and would like to be able to bring some back with me.

Yes. As long as it's for personal consumption. :banned:

Driving to Chicago with your truck seems to make it a lot easier ;) I wonder how much I will end up bringing back.

I can get Abt 12 here in MN though. More likely to pick up a lot of Two Brothers Cane and Ebel.
