What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

Orval - I'll be honest; I'm not a fan of this brew. Makes me fearful of the Duvel.

I got a lambic in the fridge as well. Lindeman's Framboise. Thought I'd try it after having the Three Philosophers the other night.
Duvel >>>>>> Orval. For a Trappist beer, Orval isn't very good.
Amen.Duvel's a keeper.

Anyone have any clue if a bottle of Westvleteren 12 bottled in a Westmalle bottle would be worth any premium or anything?
My local store has cases and cases of Westy 12 in Westmalle bottles. Anybody want to trade?

Currently drinking a Utah Brewer's Squatters IPA. It is a hell of a lot better than I was expecting and turned out to be a very solid IPA.

Rotating between Smutty IPA and Cascazilla. Too hot for anything but hops.

Off to fire up the grill and jump in the pool - may be back later.

:lmao: One of the bottles that I have is in a old Westmalle bottle. I could swear that I saw something like this going for a premium on ebay or somewhere.

Im out for a bit...I got these new Klipsch Rf-35 speakers, and its time to fire up the DVD player and test them out a bit while I enjoy the rest of my abt 12
 Thats the same brand i have for my surround sound. There goooood. Little late to be testing speakers?
Which models do ya got?? These RF-35's ROCK. And theyre purty, too.Ive been a huge Klipsch fan for a while but never made the plunge (save for a Center Channel Ive had for a few years). The plan is to add an RC-35 Center and RS-35 surrounds, then Im gonna upgrade my Denon 1603 receiver. Ill be all set.

Edit: Im not gonna "test em" test em, but I wanna see how they sound with digital surround...They replaced an old pair of Cerwin Vega studio mains that had 15" woofers...and these dual 8" woofers sound WAY BETTER so far.
RC 25 CenterSB3 8"

I have a Paradigm for the bass.

ETA: I've got the Denon 1604 :hifive:
Nice setup. I loves me some Klipsch. A buddy of mine just missed out on a mint pair of Klipsch KG2s from the early 1990s. He's building a home theater with retro speakers. Don't know where he got THAT idea.bakes, with 1979 vintage KLH3s across the front, 1975 vintage Large Advents on the front surround, and 1960s vintage AR2As on the rear surround. And a bigass subwoofer to handle the 16-60 Hz band. ;)

I once spilled a beer on it. I was pissed. Everything made it through fine, other than the beer. Better?

Seriously? Because I have one bottle of Westy 12 that's like that. In an obviously different bottle. I just figured that they did that because it was what they had on hand.

Three Floyds Rabbid Rabbit.
Thoughts? Have plenty downstairs, just not tried any yet. Want to make sure I square away BOTMC and BIF before I attack some of my better beers.
It's a good beer, just doesn't really seem like a Saison. More of a Belgian Golden Ale imo. You can always read my review. I have been good about reviewing pretty much everything lately.

I have 12 bottles downstairs, and they are bottled in three different types of bottles.

Yes better.Next please confine such "speaker talk" to the "What kind of speaker is everyone listening to tonight?" thread.

TIA.

You may carry on here about that. YWIA.

Trying to decide on what beer to have with dinner.....Im whipping up some chicken marsala, baked potatoes, steamed broccoli, and non-tossed salad.

IPA? Porter? Stout? Lager? Wheat? Amber?

I think I am the only one who doesn't understand why people drink that beer.

Per the BA forums, looks like furley killed NG and brought him home in his trunk. That's gotta stink up the beer he brought back.

When I was in MD a few years ago, everyone was all into it. I thought it tasted like a "craft" version of M/B/C.
