What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (3 Viewers)

I like the expedition much more. Its a big, brutal, unbalanced beer...but I kinda like it for that reason. But it definately is lacking in the carbonation department.

Since furley rarely has more than 2 beers in an evening, I can see why he cares little about drinkibility.
:bag:
You know I still love you furley. You're not the only who likes Expedition better. I just found the Expedition to be a lot harder to drink. There where some great flavors there, but the it was oily, flat, and had too much of an alcohol burn for my tastes.
:wub:it definitely has the alcohol "burn". warms the chest on its way down.

On the other hand, with all of those aldehydes cruising through his bloodstream he'll smell like a lab experiment for a week.
BIF II beer clue = lab coats. This post = lab experimentWhat is bakes trying to tell us? He sent lab rats pickled in beer?

Finally got around to trying the Founders Imperial Stout last night courtesy of Nucular Gerge (thanks again). Really good stout, one which I liked a lot better than Bell's Expedition and only slightly less enjoyable than Stone RIS or Speedway only due to being less complex. Nice deep black color it pured with nary a head on it. The mouthfell was about perfect, as it was thick without being too oily. Roasted malts and chocolate dominated the flavor, and it had a nice bit of alcohol burn. Easy to drink for such a big beer, and while it could have been more complex that may have taken away from its drinkibility. Solid RIS, one which I would pick up if it were available here in the South.
This is good news. I have a Founder's RIS in the fridge at home right now. I really liked the Expedition a lot though. I'm interested to see how I compare the two.

I had Bud Light last night. Hold on, wait, it's not what you think.I got a phone call from my redneck cousin last night as I was stepping out of the shower. He told me he was going to stop by and that he was about 15 minutes away from my house. Knowing my cousin, and how he likes to drink all my beer, I quickly scanned the fridge and saw that I had a lot of RISs, 8 or 9 Stone IPAs, some Boont Amber, and a couple of Russian River beers. Half naked, I ran around the house until I found my girlfriend lying in bed watching TV and asked her, pretty please, if she could run to the store to pick up a twelve pack of Bud Light. Like right friggin now before my cousin showed up. Thankfully she left and returned with some beer before he got there, saving my craft brews from a horrible fate.

While we're on the subject of repenting, I had a Miller High Life Saturday. And I liked it. :bag:
I had a Keystone Light and a Coors Light, both contraband smuggled into the track and handed to me by my racing buds on Saturday. :bag: Brought back memories of the old days, loading tires and parts and that Godforsaken 200 lb jack into the back of the hauler while slammin' down Silver Bullets provided free of charge by a sponsor.Hold on, wait a second here... Sklyord, 3Cs and I all had cheapass beer experiences over the weekend. I'm guessing some sort of warp in the space-time continuum.

I can't help that I'm a bad person
I'm thinking you will need a few visits to the Stuffed Sandwich to send everyone here a bottle of Speedway to cleanse repent yourself of that vile liquid.
fixed
I got mine. You didn't get yours?
I think I've sent a Speedway to every person who I've traded with on the board. Or atleast anyone who didn't have access to them.

And do not ever think it has gone unappreciated. :hifive: Haven't opened it yet. But I plan to do so at a specific time some time in the future. Maybe when I discover time travel or something.

Well, technically anyone who has seen the pics I posted of my basement could say the same about me. :bag:
