:pickle:Good news...for me. St B 60th will be on hand Friday!!!!!
:finger:
:goodposting:
Looking like another week for me, but I have a case on reserve. :P
A CASE? Overkill perhaps? Dude you have 500 BOTTLES in your basement!
One time release. Gotta get it while I can.
But its still the same recipe, just nice packaging, isn't it?
Best I could do: The St. Bernardus Abt 12 is recognized as one of the best ales in the world. For the occasion of our 60th anniversary, our brewmaster Bert Van Hecke created a unique and special variety of the St. Bernardus Abt 12. This "Special Edition" contains hops from Poperinge: Challenger and Golding, and has been brewed with black, amber, munich and pale ale malts.Interesting fact I didn't know. St. Bernardus was originally opened up to commercially brew St.Sixtus (Westy) beers. Same recipe, originally brewed/helped by the St.Sixtus master brewer at the time.

OK, I stand corrected. I'll have to hunt some down

Hey good buddy. Did I tell you how nice you look today? You are also one of the most intelligent, wellspoken people on this board. And funny too. My favorite poster of all-time.
See the post above yours. I'm sure we can work something out.
:pickle: :headbang: :pickle: :headbang: :pickle: :banned: I've been checking my store every few days for the Anniversary Edition. I will pick up an extra if I see it.

If Trout can't help you I'm sure I can. I'll find out soon how much of the 60th I can get. Some of it is already spoken for.

seriously, you're not missing much. It's not all THAT good. I had one once, and it was so-so. Certainly nothing compared to Stone IPA. I still have 5 more I don't know what to do with....

Would anyone recommend me picking up a Liquor De Malt from Dogfish Head? There are a couple left at the store I go to, but they are 10 bucks, and since I am trying to budget my beer buying, I decided not to pick one up, considering that I'm not a big fan of malt liquor. Is it worth the cost?

No.

Never head of it, so I just looked it up on BA. Here are there notes:
BeerAdvocate Notes:

A 40-ounce, bottle-conditioned malt liquor brewed with Apache Red (red), Hickory King (white), and Taos Blue (blue) corns. The "All-American" malt liquor is packaged with a hand-stamped, Dogfish Head brown paper bag. Limited availability.
lol, at least they're being true to the style.

:banned: Awesome beer. Definately alot going on there. Probably should have had the AB first because all i could think of while drinking it was how I wished I was still drinking the Ruination :bag: . I am more of a IPA guy at the moment. Next time pickup, I will start with the AB first. :hifive:
Ruination is a great beer. Hard to drink much after that as it numbs your taste buds with the hop bomb it is.

Damn! I get in Monday afternoon.

Hop Devil. No work tomorrow, so this will be the first of many. :banned:

And damn if I wouldn't love to cornhole in Vegas. Hack, can you tell your boss that you desperately need an assistant?

Going to be taking tonight off. Tomorrow is the big 3-0 and I have a BBQ and party planned. Along with getting off of work at noon, I plan on starting to drink at noon. :banned:

Inspired by BIF II, I branched out today in search of a new supplier. Found a local Mecca of Beer and am currently sipping a Stone Ruination while grilling. Damn this is one good beer. :banned:
:goodposting:
first time ever and gotta say it give my current fav (smutty IPA) a run for the money. Damn fine.Only got a 22, but the good news is I also bought these:Arrogant ******* AleThree Floyds Alpha King (didn't realize this one was from close to my old stomping ground - Munster, IN)
On to the Alpha King tonight (whole 6 pack of goodness).Gotta say, gives the Smutty IPA a run for the money. Little weak on the aftertastes (as compared), but a VERY hopped, crisp brew.
