Well I retract my thoughts...The 90 may be a bit sweeter then the 60 minute. I love this beer as well. Don't care for the hefty price for a 4 pack ($10), over the 60 minute's price. But beer for beer this is a close race (in which I love both), but the 90 gets the win here. Great stuff, and look forward to drinking the next 2.

I think it is Dogfish's best offering, and is an interesting contrast to other double IPA's. The malts really shine with this beer.

Finally! The little new brewery down the road is finally finished and they'll start brewing this week. Starting with the brown ale then to be followed by a pale. Hope they're good. It would be nice to have something else local to send out.

Where is local, again?

BTW, the Abita Pilsner is pretty good. Its a bit on the sweet side, and not as hopped as I was hoping, but it goes down really well and is better than most attempts as Pilsers by American brewers. Ranked third behind Victory's Prima Pils and the Hop Pocket Pils (3'Cs should know about this one).

I enjoy them both. The ale is really good, nice and easy drinking, with a good amount of hops but not overwhelming. $1.50 pint night sounds awesome.

$5 for a pitcher. Not bad considering 2 of the beers on the list (Legend Hefe and OD Oak Barrel) are nomally $4+ for a pint.

This is a known beer flaw, but all of them? Maybe you should check w/a neurologist, just in case.

If the ethanol oxidizes or becomes contaminated with bacteria, it moves one step further, and takes on a more cidery taste. These cidery flavors may also be caused by too much cane or corn sugar in a recipe. Usual cure: longer cold storage. Note: acceptable flavor in Budweiser, EKU-28, Ephemere

okay.. maybe not ALL of them but i'd say 4 or 5 of the last dozen or so. this Reaper Ale has a green apple tinge to it.

Unfortunately for us both, the second best QB is on TT's roster. And in order to be Top 10 RBs, Davis and Westbrook will have to play more than 10 games. Westbrook is 60/40 to do so. Dom Davis is 30/70 right now. Vernand Morency on the other hand......

We have a second run theater in town that is also a brewpup.

the Asheville Pizza Company or something like that?I went there last year when I was on vacation. The place was packed and we couldn't get a table.

WhyTF didn't you PM me? Wait, that was before the salad dressing incident, we didn't know each other as intimately then. Yep, Asheville Pizza. Pretty good IPA and Stout. Not worldbeaters or anything, but really good locally made beers.

yeah, it was before our "special time" and before I moved beyond the world of Bud Light (I was actually going there to get a pizza and maybe a movie). I think I went to a place caled Marco's or something since we couldn't get a table. Ended up having a pretty good pizza there.Trust me if I come back again, you'll know about it.

Congrats on leading the EPL fantasy league after Week 1. Betcha your choice of one single beer vs my choice of one single beer that it never happens in the BFL. Meaning there is not a single week where you are alone on top of the standings, either via outright W-L record or tiebreakers.

If you ever lead the BFL in W-L or tiebreaker (let's use Pts scored because that is something you have some control over as opposed to Pts Against), then you get your choice of any single bottle (or can) of beer that I can get. If not, then by the end of the regular season, I get one from you. My choice, of anything you can get.
