What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

I'll just say this, Christmas bonus before planned beer shopping trip > bonus after trip. That is all. I will report back tomorrow night, probably from the couch. :scared:

Drinking Anchor Steam while enjoying the games today. It's a lot richer than my palete is used to after all those hefe's. IIRC, it's much better on tap.

Found a place that allows the "mix and match" of different kinds of beer, so I'll be trying some new brews in the days to come. Lots of dogfish brands, and I'll be giving Tyranea (sp?) and Victory my first try.

I was at $235 and the lady at the register told me that at $250 you get 5% off. So i went and got three more brews.

Double ******* and Oak Aged ******* are chilling for tonight.

Glad to hear it. SNPA and Fat Tire had to be getting pretty boring.
 Found me a nice Belgian sampler pack that had these in it:

Those are some serious beers. Report back after the Gulden Draak and Piraat. If anything, you'll definately have an opinion about them once you are done. If....you are still standing.

Will be making a trip to the coast this weekend. Just so happens that Firestone is one the way. We will be stopping by there to check this out at the brewery.

Old Growler

Anchor Christmas Draft

DFH 60 Minute IPA

Hop Devil

Fuller's London Porter

The best part was the Cowboys victory.

Cape Cod IPA. Solid, quaffable brew. Enjoying it while watching my chances at LT2 fly out the window. Freaking Reggie Bush - he tanks, I get first pick overall. Goes off for four TDs. Helllloooo Larry Johnson. :hot:

Moved on to the Carolina Barleywine. Not huge, but full of good old leafy hoppiness. Like Bigfoot with 20% less malt. Nice effort by these guys. Only available at the brewery (Holly Springs) and definitely worth the trip.

I believe he's saying his fantasy team blows this year and he won a game (one of few) when he was hoping for a loss.
That's all fine and dandy, but let's not muck this thread up with silly posts about football. I mean seriously, what does he think this place is?????

:lmao: Good work with the :potkettle:

Wow, strange to find this thread on page 4 and no posts for 8 hours.

Went into work on my day off, so I treated myself with a trip to Town Hall for lunch. Had a Chico's Revenge Pale Ale and a Masala Mama cask. Grabbed a couple growlers (one goes in the mail tomorrow) and came home to paint.

Now I get to drink and play cards all night.

Bought another case of Hopslam, bought some Kalamazoo Stout, and bought some Jolly Pumpkin

popped a saison, my first evah.

Not too shabby. Not something I would drink every night, but it is a good brew.

Starting the night with a Ruination. Once everyone gets here, I will probably start working on the keg of Celebration.
Got around to opening your box this weekend. One of the GI Bourbon Stouts didn't make it.
Do you need me to replace it?
Dude, no way. I just thought you might want to know. Three made it suceessfully. I was just letting you know because you may have tried a new way of packing or something.

Have been tasting a variety of Xmas beers lately as I'd found some Deschutes Jubel Ale, Celbration, and a Moylan's White Christmas that I got down in the East Bay. Last night I sampled a Marin Breakout Stout that wasn't bad but not near my favorites in that style. Tonight will probably be either a Talon Barleywine or a Hoptown Paint the Town Red.

I am drinking a beer that reminds me of Furley...

It's called Bitcin betty.

And guess what, IT SUCKS!

This would have filled in nice for the girly man with his Pepsi. :D

Edit to circumsize the filter
