While down in the Bay area yesterday I stopped in a store in Berkely, CA called Ledger Liquors that Fatmax had mentioned to me a while back but I hadn't previously had time to stop at. I must say that the recommendation was a good one as this place had a better selection of hard to find beers than any place I've ever been to. They had tons of Belgians to choose from, some hard to find CA craft brews, and some quality stuff from other states. Was disappointed to find out that they didn't have any Alesmith because their distributor they'd previously gotten it from went out of business but I still can't complain. It ended up being a very expensive trip so I may be looking for new residence once my wife sees the bill. Here are a few of the highlights of the trip:
A couple of Jolly Pumpkin wood aged beers (can't recall the names)
A Port Brewing/Lost Abbey Barrel Aged Dubbel
Westmalle Dubbel
Westmalle Tripel
St. Bernardus 60th Special release
Rochefort 6
Trappist Achel 8 Brune
Saison Dupont
Corsendonk
Ballast Point Big Eye IPA
Double *******
Vertical Epic 06.06.06
Hair of the Dog Fred, Ruth, Rose, and Doggie Claws
Sixer of Mad River Steelhead DIPA
I know I grabbed a few more than these but these are the ones I can remember off the top of my head. Might have grabbed a gueze or something like that but I don't remember. Really looking forward to trying all of these.

That and different hop additions will be used for each cask.

inchesnips:One of these days I'm going to have to post reviews of what I'm drinking. Seems I never have the time to do it. BTW, thanks again for that recommendation of Ledgers.
Maybe that'll be a good beer for tonight if I can get all my #### done and get a decent workout in.

that which you think you might have seen you didn't really see.
