What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

I mean, aren't all the ingrediants natural anyway?
You know what the term 'organic' means, right? Anyway, I would guess the main problem that organic beers face is finding quality barley.
Doesn't it mean that at no point in the growing of ingrediants, you can use anything that is not approved organic? Such as fertilizer and pesticides. I mean I we have organic dairies around here so I "think" I understand the basics.

Keystone Light, which has replaced Bud Light as my ale of choice.(Holiday Bowl just started and tomorrow is my last day at Dell, so I'm getting shnockered.)
neither are ales.
Perhaps, but neither of them has a condescending tongue criticizing my choices....
No criticizing here, pardner. We're just beer guys. And last we checked........yup, both of those are still beers. Nase was just pointing out that they are both lagers, that's all. Which technically doesn't really matter in the end, because lagers go down just the same mechanically as do ales.So drink up!

DFH PangaeaReviews make it sound disapointing
I thought it was pretty good. Could have used slightly less of the ginger sting to it. And more of the beer taste. And I l-o-v-e ginger. My wife actually found Ginger Altoids for a stocking stuffer for Xmas.

You don't know #### about the dairy business. Don't try to sound smart when it comes to dairy.

Not bad. Picked it up just because it was a Xmas ales at whatever store I was at. No clue where I was. It's English. It's beer. That's good enough. The BA rating is 78, which I think is somewhat undervalued. I think this one outplays it's rating, kinda like Travis Jervey on Madden 2003. Starts out somewhat bitter, but not as bitter as the label claims. As it warms, you really get the sour finish on this bad boy. And that's obviously something that appeals to me. And I think it's that sour finish that makes me say it outplays its rating on BA. Not something that you should seek out shiploads of, but worth a try if you are down to your last beer. Which means TT will get around to it some time around 2009.

lol - those ginger Altoids are powerfull! :cry:Its an OK brew. Something very fresh about it, though at this point (2 mo from bottled date), not worth the price tag. Have 1 more that will be sitting for a while.I have an excellent cod, ginger/soy, leeks and tomatoes recipe for the ginger love

 Thumbdown just because I edited it with a few chopped out words? Sheesh, tough crowd. I took out a few words that I originally didn't catch to edit on my first pass. What's next? Are you going to send me spoiled milk? Seriously, no comment on the milk thing. But an edit gets a comment? You're one odd bird, Gator.

You gonna make me get up? That would be a lot of typing. It involved this ginger/soy sauce that you spread over the cod and the leeks/tomatoes. Very simple, yet very gingerly delicous. I always have to double the ginger sauce since we use much more than recommended.Lobster. Where again are you? I need to revisit since I will be migrating from MD to MA. Start the new job Jan 16.

Chicago. I know, not the lobster capital of the US. But I just tell myself they are fresh caught in Lake Michigan. For better or worse. actually, I just get the frozen tail at either WHole Foods or the local whole sale seafood place that supplies all the major upsacle restaurants here (Trotters, Everest Room, etc). Place called The Fish Guy.Congrats on the new gig. Where in MA?

Office today is in Framingham, but will be moving shortly to Maynard. My BIL lives in Worcester and I will be living with him for the next 2 mo while my wife and I prepare the house for sale.

40 minutes on the elliptical.
what means this?
Losing weight. Better health, live longer bs. I force myself to work out to drink. 15 minutes per beer.
So WTF you gonna do with the other 10min you earned? Have a Bud Light?
It's like a gift card. The remainder will carry over. 20 minutes tomorrow buys me 2 more beers. I might be behind after drinking that growler last night though.

HIIT is the way to go. Google it.
After the high BP scare, I'm just getting back into exercising/working out. The brand spanking new Y opens up in a little more than a month. I think by then I'll be more likely to give high intensity training a go. I used to do it occassionally several years ago.

I do a mile on the bike per oz. (or try to)
That's a lot of pedaling!I need to get a decent bike. I have an old, cheap (department store type) mountain bike I used to ride. There's a few nice trails near my house I could use.
Or you could buy a 260 and pedal whilst playing the gears.

I'm nothing if not honest. Especially if Gator or Furley is involved. The rest of you, I try to blend in because you frighten me with your modern ways. Those two at least I know I can take them in a game of Scrabble.

I'd still only be at like 5 miles a day. :banned:
Are you pedaling a unicycle?
He has really short legs. :banned:
Et tu, Brute?

Yeah I saw it, just didn't want to be the board police tonight and call him on it. You on the other hand, I will point out everything. ;)
If it involves smacking you and/or Furley around....then Yes, I will point it out.
