What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (1 Viewer)

TT> where's my Masala Mama?
Probably still at Town Hall.
:sadbanana:
I have done too many trades and I know you have done the same since someone beermailed me about NG and had already been shot down by you. Why don't you get that lazy bum Bax to pick up some MM for you?
i'm just busting stones.i posted 2 trade offers in the last 2 weeks and i've rec'd something like 25 beermails w/ other offers to trade. it's nuts. finishing up my 3rd today. got another one going next week. it's nutso.just planting the seed for down the road. we'll have to work something out as i really want to try the MM. doesn't have to be this week, next week or even next month.

I have heard through the grapevine that 30 kegs of HopSlam are coming to NC. If one doesn't come to Asheville I may have to make a road trip.
This just reconfirms that they may be rereleasing it. I can't imagine 30 kegs sitting around since October.
From what I've read they brewed it again for release in January.
The Batch ID that you entered '7787', is a Bell's Hopslam Ale. Your Bell's Hopslam Ale was packaged on January 5, 2007.
Mine is batch 7806 which hasn't been entered into their database. Not found.

We need to talk about most underrated beers in their style/category sometime soon... I hate following advice of BA or ratebeer's scale when heading to a new city to try brews out. I want personal opinions here, not a score there (cause I don't look your name up if you reviewed each beer). I want to know what cities have underrated IPA/DIPAs, underrated Scotch Ales, Underrated Stouts(though not a huge stout man) etc. I would love to get outside the box and try every one's specific underdog, rather then chasing the big "little" breweries beer.
:goodposting:I like this idea.

:goodposting: I'll post a few later. Need to go get some Pale Ale at the Pump Station right now. Long day, including two simultaneous conference calls. :loco:

Tyranena's Stone Tepee Pale Ale is pretty solid. haven't reviewed it yet but remembered thinking that i'd drink a 6-pack of that on a regular basis. affordable, easy drinker with some nice flavor.

Regular basis meaning a couple weeks?

I am pissed! I am pissed at each and everyone of you in here!

Because of you my wallet is getting thinner and my gut is getting bigger!

DAMN YOU ALL!!!

can anybody re-size pics to fit BA specifications?

i want to upload 2 new beers to the site but can't get the pics to the right size. might have something to do with how i took the pics... i have no idea.

i need help.

I think Moylan's is an underrated brewery overall as Moylander is supurb and I've enjoyed their other beers as well. Just had their Russian Imperial Stout again the other day and, while not on the same level as Stone RIS, it was a damn tasty beer. I enjoy the Kilt Lifter every now and then as a change of pace, unlike Beaglemac, but then again I haven't had to many Scotch ales previously to compare it against. Only one I can think of is perhaps Belhaven a long, long time ago and a McKewans even longer ago than that.

this has been a good beer week for ol' furley

rec'd my 4th package of the week

today's contained:

Pizza Port Santa's Little Helper

Pizza Port Old Viscosity

McEwans is pretty money... that and Scotty Karate are my favs (that I have tried).

New Glarus Hop Hearty. Nice English/US hybrid IPA, especially the combo of Goldings and Cascades.

Was poking through the beer cellar and found a 12 pack box of what I thought was empties. Wrong. A bunch of brews that must have been sitting there for *years.* Found a AAA Brewing Co. Dunkelweiss (that facility's been gone since maybe 1999? Now the bottling brewery for Lake Placid), Tremont Porter (when they had their own brewery), DFH Immort Ale from about 2002, Wagner Sled Dog Doppelbock, Upper Canada True Bock... all kinds of stuff, like an all star selection from the "No Longer Reviewable" library on BA. There's a case box next to it and I'm afraid to open it.

You need to try the Old Chub - stellar Scoth Ale

I do, I do... now I need to find it.

Drinking a Old Guardian... not a huge fan, but then I again I don't love barley wines.

I love Stone's Bottles. The label is so rough on these..

I'll take the under... with the SB coming up, something tells me there is gonna be chatter about the brews people brought out. Plus, if I may, I am sure the Skylord hole can draw a little conversation. UNDER for the bank!

Talk to me here.. If I drink one 22 oz beer with 12% alcohol, how many 12 oz bud lights does that equal?

I have ~1500 posts. I'll just delete some to make it take longer.

consolidating posts. About 4.5 would be my guess.

I don't need a guess... when I tell the officer I had 1 beer I am not lying, but how many water beers does it equal?
