Went with the Chimay Rouge, but have a bottle of the Orval in the fridge. Haven't tried this before - interested to give it a try ... heard it has a different, citrus taste ...

Went with the Chimay Rouge, but have a bottle of the Orval in the fridge. Haven't tried this before - interested to give it a try ... heard it has a different, citrus taste ...

Tasty brew for sure. Don't drink it cold though, slightly chilled brings out the true flavor, imo.I know i know, thats true for most beers but especially Orval.

I'm in Cortez, Colorado, and ate at a local microbrewery. Had 2 glasses of their Honey Raspberry Wheat. Excellent. Big :banned: Not sure if it is marketed at all, their brand name is Mesa Cerveza.

 
Thought it was going to be a quality beer evening.

Instead, I spent the last 5 hours pounding Genny. And I'm not talking Jamison, I'm talking the flagship brew from High Falls Brewing Co. It says a LOT when you see cups atop the taps, ask them their bottle selections, and the most drinkable brew is... Genny. :banned:

I am SO gonna pay for this tomorrow...

while I was outside pressure washing parts of the driveway and sidewalk and putting sealant on another part of the driveway. I'm beat and another spider got to me. A big red hot spot on my leg about the size of a baseball. :lmao:
