I wonder if Tivo or Replay were ever penny stocks? We come back and miss the halftime show. The girls apparently liked Bruno Mars and were excited to see him perform.
I'd appreciate hearing all of your feedback.
Good luck. Take some time off and go fishing.Alright, well this is likely to be the last post I make in awhile. A lot of things are coming and going in my life right now and it's getting kind of hectic. I need to buckle down and figure out the best way to tackle the next 9 - 10 months of my life. But before I leave to go deep into my studies, do some playing scouting, and finish school... I'll tell you guys how my Super Bowl went.
I invited these two 18 year old girls over to watch the game with my friend and I. It was a solid idea, what's better than girls and football? So they come in and don't really know (or care about football) right about the time Seattle went up 22 - 0. At halftime, my friend and I take the girls upstairs only for my mom to follow us and go on a huge tirade.
Here I am 22 years old and my mom is busting my chops about "smoking" in the house. She gets pissed and forces us to go outside. So we smoke in the car and go to pick up the pizza. We come back and miss the halftime show. The girls apparently liked Bruno Mars and were excited to see him perform.
Harvin returns the kick and the game is all but over with two-girls sitting there clueless, as I'm pissed that the Broncos are getting destroyed. They get up and leave as my friend and I are forced to watch the blowout continue midway through the 3rd Quarter.
-.-
So, I'm pretty pissed off about now and am really reflecting on everything that just happened. It's pretty clear to me that I need to move out of my parents house and soon. It's only the beginning of February, so I can still salvage the majority of 2014.
As far as the girls, I'm not to worried, I'll have a chance to die another day and there's only one-of-two that I'm really interested in. I'm pretty sure I can damage control with her.
But yeah, it's been fun bull####ting with you guys the past week or so. But I have no aspirations of being some type of internet sensation (or joke for that matter).
I'm probably just going to continue to work, go to school, mess with the stock market, and pursue women. It's apparent that I need to move out of my parents' house. With the way I've got my stock purchase plan setup, I've got lump sums of $500 coming to me each month.
$500 will easily get me a crappy apartment around the area. It's not really what I want and I'm going to miss my dog a lot but it's the next logical step in my life. I'll have about $800 - 900 leftover a month after rent is paid. So you figure:
$800
-$45 phone
-$60 gas
-$120 food
-$45 insurance
$530 - 630 leftover.
Which isn't terrible considering that rent would be paid in-full each month (and with the way my ESPP is setup, I'd have guaranteed rent for 3-month stretches).
It's obviously going to take longer for my stock portfolio to gather steam but my goals should be focused on finishing this Associates Degree and getting a better paying job. Something paying $14 - 15 an hour would drastically change things as they are.
I won't have my Associates Degree for another 9 - 10 months, so assuming I had to sign a year lease, that would leave me 3-months to find a new job / get promoted before I could possibly find somewhere new to live.
My eyes need to be on the prize of acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. My standard of living is going to be drastically different once I reach that benchmark. But for now, I need to rest; put my head down; and tough it out.
I'd appreciate hearing all of your feedback.

I'm guessing his mom pays for a lot of the food. How do you eat on $120/month?
MOM! MEATLOAF!I'm guessing his mom pays for a lot of the food. How do you eat on $120/month?
Yeah this sounds pretty crazy to me. Even at my ultimate cheapest/brokest I was trying to eat for under 6 bucks/day. That's still nearly 200/month to budget on food. How do you eat on $120/month?
Smartest thing you've posted to date, Your Eminence.... pursue women. It's apparent that I need to move out of my parents' house.
Promises, promises.Alright, well this is likely to be the last post I make in awhile.

I don't why any one would choose to not have fun. Em you would make your life even more miserable by doing this. Being mature and having fun are two different thing. You can still grow and accomplish your goal while enjoying life. You made good grades, got a raise and decided to save some cash. You were just trying to chill with some chicks and watch the SB like 99.9% of America. No harm in that. It's your moms house so her rules apply. Not much more to say about that. Don't be a ##### and worry about damage control. If she's into you thats not enough to stop her. #### blame it on her.Serious post:
If you want to get ahead of where you are right now, you need to stop drinking, stop smoking (weed and cigarettes) and focus on one thing: getting ahead of where you are right now. Period. Fun is nice, but it interferes with everything else, and you are behind where you want to be in life. You don't have time for fun right now. Have fun in a few years when you're making $50-60K a year.
Dude had a job making good money at Olive Garden. He chose to quit for the strong earning potential that a career at Walgreens offers.Get a job waiting tables at a Chili's or something and make some money.
