I used to never untie or tie them, but just push really hard until I got them back on.

Now, I still don't untie them when taking them off, but for my running shoes I'll untie and tie when I put them back on to try and preserve the structural integrity of the shoes by not jamming my foot in. Old running shoes that I use to walk around in, I don't bother.

Depends on the shoe.
One pair of running shoes has the quick laces / bungee cord type, so no to those. A couple other pairs I can slip out of but I have to untie most of my shoes and boots (no 🤠 👢)

LOOK AT ME I RUN

No, but I know I should. I usually do then untie them before putting them back on. But, I generally just kicked them off when taking them off.

yes for all of my laced shoes....

but as i mostly WFH, i am often barefootin' or in flip flops.

most of my dress shoes are slip on. i do have a couple of pairs of more formal boots that i wear in the fall/winter (tie and untie them)

BTW. Anybody out there with feet problems, can’t recommend new balance 574 FTW. They are literally the only shoe that I can wear for long periods of time.

Have weak ankles so I always tie my shoes when they go on to get them as tight as possible (i.e. I don’t just slip them on and off). I’m probably 70/30 keep tied/untie when taking them off so voted no.

I'm ruining my beautiful shoes because I'm lazy and I slip on/slip off while my 220 lb. body with size 13 feet just crushes the backs of them in. They really should be tied/untied.

never

@Keerock did I miss the do you take off your disgusting shoes when you enter your home OR do you prefer to spread Clostridium difficile bacteria all over poll or is that forthcoming?

What a stupid question.

Oh, I'm in the minority on this one. Cool.
I thought the same thing.
Although, I think the results might be skewed because the questions doesn't specify "shoes with laces".

Personally, I don't "typically" untie my shoes because I usually wear Birkenstocks.
But when I shoes with laces, I always untie them before taking them off.

So, I voted "yes".
But looking at the comments, it seems maybe a lot of people are in the same boat where they don't typically wear shoes with laces, so they voted "no".
Actually, it does

Voted no as my sneakers are rarely untied.

Exception is dress shoes as it is impossible to get decent laced dress shoes off without untying.

Typically no but do sometimes. Kind of depends on why/when I am taking them off. I would put it add 75% no and 25% yes
