Some folks wet the brush, turn the water off, brush, then water on to rinse...
while others just leave it running.

Normally yes. Although some mornings I'm zoned out and will forget or be lazy about it.

Same. I also just strongly dislike waste even if it's just a few pennies worth. As such, leaving it on is wasting water from my perspective.

I feel the same about somebody not finishing their plate, leaving a light one, or even leaving the air on if we'll be aware for a few days. I credit my cheap mom.

Guess that makes it a wash for water conservation
