As I continue to track the coaching changes around the league, one of the things that has struck me is whether something is amiss in Tennessee. They fire Chris Palmer (who shouldn't have been hired in the first place) and name Dowell Loggains as the interim guy. Then, after a quiet few weeks, promote Loggains to the top job without any indication they looked elsewhere. They also let Alan Lowry go, which is fine, but they've named a guy who assisted on the D-line last year, and has four years as a special teams assistant. Now those moves may be totally appropriate, but from the outside they seem...really underwhelming. So my question is, what's the local view on Munchak? Is he considered a good coach still waiting to get all the personnel pieces in place? He seems like a fiery and unyielding kind of guy, is that possibly hurting him in attracting top assistants?
