What's the status with Hines Ward? (1 Viewer)

Hines Ward was just dropped and is a free agent in my league. I am strongly considering picking him up, but I was wondering what his injury status is and when he might get back on the field. Thanks for your input!!!

Wow. Hines said yesterday he'll be back after the bye this week. Outside of his match-up with Champ Bailey he should be a great WR3 the rest of the way.

I picked him up off of waivers as well - plan to use him as my WR#3 the rest of the way if he can stay healthy.

Weird... he was dropped last night in two of my leagues... I own him in a third, so I had a mental note to see if there was bad news/update on the injury. Good to see that is not the case... esp. with Santonio laying an egg this past week.

I was just offered Ward for Jason Campbell (JC is my backup to Palmer...guy needs a backup Qb for Favre's bye next week) and I should prob jump all over this, right? Unless there's something more serious I don't know about this seems like an easy trade for me.

Yeah, he was dropped in one of my leagues too and I also picked him up. Only thing is it may cost me the game this week because I was already gonna have to play with 1 RB missing, and I had to drop another WR not on bye (Engram) to get him. Roster limits suck sometimes....
