What's Tiki saying? (1 Viewer)

I wonder if Tiki will come out and apologize to Eli for his comments earlier this season.

I wonder how Tiki feels knowing he walked away 1 year too early.

Karma sucks.

I wonder if the Giants would have even made the SB if Tiki hadn't retired. Tiki was a great RB but I get the feeling he (and Shockey) may have been more of a negative than a positive.

 I dont think it was a coincidence that they went on their run without Shockey and Tiki - If I'm the Giants I take offers for Shockey in the offseason! Why wasn't that turd on the sidelines chering on his team - blew out my knee and was there every practice and every game - how can this guy go to Miami for weeks and then sit in a box during the game drinking beers? Trade him - they are fine without him!

It was evident that Eli wasn't a good leader on the field last year, so why would Tiki apologize about saying something that was true.Tiki didn't want to play football anymore. He walked away when he should have.I don't think Tiki has bad karma.

he was a distraction all of last year - one of the main reasons why Eli couldn't grow as a QB - then he leaves, trashes the coach and QB on the way out.....enjoy cooking and playing footsie on your morning show - i'm sure he it is killing him to not only miss out on this but for people to say him not being there put them over the top! as I said with Bellicheat -- --karma is a $%%#

They showed him interviewing Eli after the game on the Today show this morning. It was priceless. Tiki asked about what it took to win and one of the lines in Eli's answer was "having the right people here". It was great. Can't stand Tiki.

I missed that, would have loved to see it. Priceless.

It was just priceless and you could see the joy in Eli's eyes.

Still, pretty funny ...

I liked when Rich Seubert said that he's been taking heat from a lit of people - followed by a few seconds of laughter. but they panned away so you couldn't see which was laughing or the look on tiki's face.

Yeah sorry, "playing" instead of "on the team". But it was still pretty great.

I'm not a Tiki Barber fan but that was a first class report on his part.

Really? I kind of thought he was a FBG staff favorite due to the fact he was on the cover of the mag a few years ago. I never had an issue with his announcing his retirement when he did. I know many people may not agree with this, but he gave his team an opportunity to see what they had in the cupboard in '06, so they did not need to debate about whether to use a higher pick on a backup RB to Jacobs. Now, his comments about Eli in the beginning of the year, were not very constructive and while he wanted to take advantage of his team knowledge, he did burn a bridge in the process. When Curtis Martin returns as a Jet for some type of career acknowledgement, he will be cheered. If Barber is lucky enough to be even invited, he probably will have a mixed reaction which is a shame for all the good he did on and off the field as a player.

Well done by Tiki. I didn't feel a hint of animosity from him.

Loved the comment from one of the ladies, "Is it true that Giselle left with Eli?"
