when do you trade M. Bell? (1 Viewer)

I'd let him play a week or two. After that, get what you can. Keep in mind he starts with St. Louis and KC. I like the inflation rate with those two games.

This is exactly what my plan is. IMO, his value will be at its highest after Week 2. Broncos play NE in Week 3. I could see a bad game from M. Bell v NE and then after Denver has a bye in Week 4 Shanny could choose to start Cobb, or T. Bell. So I think he will last one more week than Q. Griffin did.

Dynasty owners who trade him prematurely will miss out on all the good times. I think I'll keep him until sometime next decade when he breaks all of Emmit Smith's career rushing records. ;)

dream on.... RBBC in Denver starting week 1. All the Bells values will be dropping then.

OK, I'll go out on the shakey limb: You might want to consider keeping him. He could potentially put up numbers like Anderson did last year.

Shhh! This is all part of my marketing strategy.Let me tell you about the year I got a #1 pick for Tony Hollings... or was it Craig Nall...

Quite frankly, the limb aint that shaky. He's looked better than Mike Anderson did last year at this time, and Tatum Bell is still not a starter, he's a change of pace back. In TD heavy leagues, Bell will be solid. In yardage leagues, I would move him after week 2.

 I really hope you're right. I snagged him in the 6th in a TD heavy league that drafted last week.

Mike Bell is this year's Mike Anderson.

You can see what MA's value is this year. Don't be surprised if that's MBell's value next year.

Look for a high point this season to coincide with another owner's RB injury issues (or bye issues). That would be a good time to sell.

The reason I loaded up on Moss/Chambers/Ward in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th is because I knew MBell would be there in the 6th round (12 team league and I actually got him in the 7th) and figured he would outproduce the likes of Droughns/Kevin Jones/Gore/Foster (guys that were going in the 2nd3rd round) given the fact it's a TD heavy league. As I stated earlier, I'd be more nervous in a yardage league as I believe Tatum will still get 10-12 carries a game. This is so reminiscient of last year. I'm surprsied more people aren't noticing this. It would be naive to assume MBell will be the guaranteed starter all year, but I'll take the production for as long as possible.

What do you think he'd fetch in a deal? Specifically, what tier of players would he matchup with?

Ex: WRs in the area of Javon Walker, Joey Galloway, TJ WhoseYourMama

In a dynasty I just traded M. Bell, T. Bell, and Jerome Harrison for Portis, and Darrell Jackson. Maybe I got screwed, maybe I didn't. I'm just happy that I don't have to decide which Bell to start all year long. And I think D. Jax will be fine by week 13.

You are kidding, right? Portis and DJax for the Bells and J. Harrison? That's a great deal for you, especially in a dynasty! Can I join your league? :lmao:

Similar to the RBBC in Denver last year where one RB was in the top ten and the other was in the top 25?

No you didn't.I was crazy enough to trade Marvin Harrison & Tony Romo for Mike Bell & Cedric Cobbs. But I'd trade Bell/Cobbs for Portis in a heartbeat (if I didn't already own Portis).Your trade is a classic YOINK moment. Revel in it.

I just traded M. Belll two days ago in a 12 team, 2 player keeper league. We drafted on 8/5, so he was literally my last pick of the draft. I sent Bell, Chris Henry and Isaac Bruce for D. Driver and K. Colbert. The other owner was really hurting at RB and he already had Tatum Bell. I already had Westbrook, Jordan, Foster, B. Jacobs, M. Turner, Moats and Fargas at RB but was hurting at WR (D. Jax, Matt Jones, Antonio Bryant, and Koren Robinson :banned: :wall: were my first four WR picks).

I think we both benefited in the end.

You trade him after week one, and use the juicky week two matchup the help seal the deal and prevent the other guy from playing the "I want to see him for one more week" card.

Decent shot M. Bell could start the whole season for Denver. I wouldn't trade that for a slight upgrade at WR. You win fantasy titles with 5th round picks like this. I'd trade him and a late round WR like I. Bruce on my squad for a top 10 ADP RB or one of the top 6-7 WR's.

I wouldn't trade Bell for J. Walker. When the count is 3-0 you swing for the fences.

Mike Bell is a classic "trade high" candidate.
Mike Bell is a classic "buy low" candidate.

 No, no, no, a thousand times no.

Mike Anderson last year looked UNTOUCHABLE. Kubiak and Shanahan both said that MAnderson had the best offseason they had ever seen any player have. Ever. And these guys coached John Elway, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Rod Smith, etc, etc, etc.

im seriously considering an offer i just got...

i give mbell and get javon walker
In Dynasty, pull the trigger and run. In redraft, walk away.

Acually when the counts 3-0, you don't swing at all. But hey, this is a fantasy football site; so i'll let you slide on that one. :D
