His team looks unprepared ,disorganized . Bad calls all over the place .

Cam Cameron is a real clown as a head coach .

He had something going in the third quarter ( Brown seemed to be finally coming out of his slump and started to run the ball well ) then the genius benches him for 1 qtr and puts the game in Trent Green's hand .

What happened had to happen ints etc etc etc and a lost .

Cameron is a clown .

I couldn't agree more.

The first half, there were some idiot calls that stoped drives but all in all he stuck with the run and ball control and kept his team in the game. In the second half, they come out, pound Ronnie down the field and end up with a TD.

Then, out of no where, he completely abandons Ronnie and goes to the air every down. Dallas literally started playing pass every down and rushing Trent.

A blind man could have seen it.

There is some talent on Miami and Chatman can be a good change of pace, #2 RB, but the only way they'll be half way successful is to be patient with the running game, give Ronnie time to wear down the defence and give THEIR OWN DEFENCE a minute to catch their breath in between pass pass 3 and out or INT!

He IS a moron and both the loses are SQUARLY on him.

I think the Dolphin D, or lack of, and Trent Green were at least as equally at fault as Cameron..

If I told you I was going to pass every down, do you think that would help your defense? Does play action work when you never run? Oh and if your offence could only stay on the field for 2 minutes at a time, do you think your defense would get tired? He put ALL the pressure on Trent and a BAD offensive line.....GOOD CALL!

Yes it's only his second game, but there needs to be improvement, that's for sure. A lot of the points that have been made are valid. I can't understand why they got away from the run after that first drive in the 2nd half, especially since the defense was badly wearing down. Really can't understand why he's completely putting the game into Trent's hands, when he hasn't been all that great. He missed a lot of throws even in the first half, just off the top of my head I can recall him sailing 3-4 balls over the heads of wide open WR's on the sideline. I'm currently at the "he's making some bizarre decisions, but I'll give him a bit for the plan to start working or for him to adjust" stage with him at the moment. But talent-wise this is a 6-10 team anyways, so I'll give him some time.

i'd have to agree with that last sentence... the Dolphins have Chambers.. Ronnie Brown who hasn't proven much and an olllllllld core on defense.

isn't this his 2nd game as an HC?
I am sure others can give alot more names than I can as I really only pay attention to the Cowboys and my fantasy team. So if ya got them name them. Jimmy Johnson went 1-15 and 3-13 before he went on to win two superbowls. It took him a while to adjust to the game as it does many coaches. His teams looked as bad as their record indicates. Give Cameron a chance. It is a whole different world from being a coordinator to a head coach. The guy has alot of football smarts, let him find his way to make it work. I think two games is way to early to pass any judgement.

Cameron's resume didn't really seem worthy of a head coaching job to me.

Failed stint as a college head coach, successful stint as an NFL OC with absurd talent to work with. How that qualifies a guy to be an NFL head coach, I don't know.

;)

The Ginn family did produce -3 yards on offense yesterday. Probably Ronnie Brown's fault . . .
Or could it be that he has yet to learn how to play WR with the big boys.Tidbit of info:Of the 14 receivers drafted in the top 10 since 2000, Ginn is the only one to be blanked in his first two games. That included Brick Mits Williamson. Even he caught a pass in his 1st 2 weeks. Meachem has been blanked because he's not good enough to even suit up. Nice pick Cam. Gear up for the 2008 draft because you are picking early.

Based on your Big 10 avatar, how many FOOTBALL coaches have been "successful" at Indiana?

The cowboy/dolphin analogy doesn't apply here... first jimmie came straight from UM, where cameron had some NFL coaching experience as OC... in addition, the cowboys team was extremely young as they were breaking in aikman, emmitt, and the oline. Miami is one of the older teams in the league. While I'm not as quick to judge the guy as some of the others who've posted in this thread, but the future is looking pretty bleak...

20% of the players are rookies this year. Yes, the core is old, but there is also some extremely young players as well.I do agree that Cameron has underwhelmed thus far. Playcalling has been awful. Worse than what Mularkey tried to do last year. IMO, Cameron is too smart for his own good. He's trying to do things his way and his way only, and therefore he is incapable (or unwilling) to adapt his playcalling to what the defense is giving. He is very reminiscent of Martz, but he doesn't have the talent @ WR to run that type of offense. Chambers is nice, but Booker leaves much to be desired and Ginn has yet to prove his draft spot. Not to mention the O-line is porus at best.
