This. If I was friendly with them and I heard it, I would likely call them and if they didn’t answer maybe call the police. That would t ever happen because I too would sleep through a WWI artillery strike.
I would look outside and see if it appeared there was a heist in progress. If not I would write it off as fireworks setting it off. I wouldn't call it in unless it started bugging me for an extended period of time.

No heist but after 5 minutes but before 10 minutes I called. It went off 5 minutes after that and called 911 back and let them know it stopped. Still think to error on the side of caution but not sure.
IF it woke me up (unlikely unless it's really close lol) and IF it continued for more than a couple of minutes I probably would. Out of annoyance more than anything.
Can't assume that it notifies the alarm company/police, bc some people don't do the subscription service so they literally just have the audible alarm with no remote notifications. If they're home, it's usually off within a few seconds or they're notifying authorities if needed. Or if I hear gunshots at that point THEN I call the police.
