When You Try to Honor a SC Justice Posthumously (1 Viewer)

George Mason University (in NoVA just outside DC) tried to honor Justice Antonin Scolia posthumously by renaming their law school after him. The Antonin Scolia School of Law is nice, however the acronym (A.S.S.o.L.) didn't fly on social media. They quickly changed it to The Antonin Scolia Law School.

Of course, it would be Scalia, but that wouldn't change the acronym. And I don't even know why they did that, considering GM is a law and econ place and Antonin was about the executive branch and separation of power issues.

But sigh...
