Where's nick roach today? (1 Viewer)

How is this even possible? You starting MLB who calls receives the plays from the coaches AND your all world safety can NEITHER GET IN THE STAT BOX?

 
I barely pulled out a victory despite his ZERO. I will need him to contribute a bunch most weeks. I hope this was a fluke.

 
I went to game and I swear he got tackles and his name called over the PA a few times.

Just like Lamaar Houston getting a sack, plain as day. The crowd had some people cheering Houstons name afterwards. But no stats for it.

Its the Blackhole, I'm not surprised; Burnett only got a couple of ticks as well :(

(KFFL)Oakland Raiders SS Tyvon Branch (leg) has left the Week 2 game and will not return.

The Raiders won the battle Sunday against the Jaguars but they took what could be a major casualty along the way. Starting strong safety Tyvon Branch left the game with an ankle injury in the first half and didn't return.

Following the game, the prognosis wasn't a good one from head coach Dennis Allen.

"Tyvon Branch injured his ankle," said Allen. "That looks to be a significant injury. We'll find out more later."

Hate the guys who tally the stats, I find it extremely difficult to believe that Roach had no part in any tackles during the course of a game.

 
if the jags are to blame, why were derrick johnson and eric berry in on 14 tackles the previous week?

I'm not asking for a good day -- I'm just asking for a day

That's 3 tackles and 2 assists.

And The Jags get almost ZERO extra yards after initial contact anywhere on the field all game long.

Roach will certainly have far better opportunities if any offensive player can actually win a match up and allow him time to "fill".

The Jags coule barely get past the defensive line or escape any DB.

They also sent him on a few blitzes with the QB delivering on time and with roach just short of getting there on each.

7 solos and an assist is bad against a pass happy team?

The coverage linebacker got 10 and Roach was still 3rd in tackles.

He had a good second half....he was dreadful in the first half.

Having said that, he left some tackles on the field. If he was a better talent, he would be a beast.

 
to my untrained eye he had a ton of tackle opportunities and he looked horrible. He has big trouble shedding blocks. Most of his tackles were down field and that sack of man was gift wrapped and he whiffed. am I being too hard on this bum?
