Cowboys belong in this discussion.

M Bennett could score more TDs then the #2 WR and have 3/4ths the yards.

D Mason, D Avery, T Ginn, B Edwards, T Holt, J Cotchery, S Moss(Wash) and

A Bryant all stand a good chance of out producing R Williams.

Right now M Austin and P Crayton haven't done enough for anyone to say

their better then those team's #2s That leaves Giants, Chicago, Oakland,

San Fran, Tenn, Minny, and Dallas. I'm not including KC -Bowe is a stud in

the making.

I'd rank them San Fran, Tenn, Oakland, Minny, Chicago, Dallas, Giants.

Worst to best. Crayton and Austin as a duo might out produce all of those

other teams #2 and 3 wrs but it's going to be closer then a lot of people

think.
Do you really think that the Giants have a better receiving core than the Vikings?  Steve Smith has one career TD and Berrian has 20.  I assume you believe Nicks is better than Harvin even though he was drafted later.  Are the Giants #3 and #4 (whoever they are) better than Rice and Wade?
Berrian is WAY underrated in an NFL sense. I'd love to see what he could do with a decent QB. He and Harvin should keep the Vikings off the list. On second thought, I'd have to call Chicago the worst based solely on the dire lack of experience.

It does seem that more & more teams are loading up on a lot of guys with different skillsets rather than looking for that one go-to-guy.

Not sure how the Titans are anywhere near leading this poll, except because of previous years' reputation.Justin Gage -- take a look at his numbers from last year.Nate Washington -- FA signee, getting raves in campLavelle Hawkings -- the new Derrick MasonKenny Britt -- first rounder, all time all everything out of RutgersJared Cook -- listed as a TE, but let me tell you folks --> watch out for this guy. You WILL wake up on this guy.No, that isn't a great list...but looking at some other teams, there is NO way they are last on the list.Baltimore, Oakland, Jacksonville, Jets, San Fran, Browns, etc, and many others are worse.
that list of WR's aint scarin no one. maybe not the worst in the league, but very below average.

But this is not the "very below average" poll.

Tennessee is killing it in here. Let me give them a quick peek.Nate Washington Justin Gage Kenny Britt Lavelle Hawkins Paul Williams Chris Davis Mark Jones Dominique Edison I see lots of young potential there, but yes... there is certainly the possibility of major suckage.
Pretty amazing that Kerry Collins took them to a 13-3 record. That's a jab at all who ever thought that Vince Young took them to victories when he was masquerading as an NFL QB. Raiders receiver will surprise this year provided Russell can actually get them the ball in between stops at Wendy's.

Lavelle Hawkings -- the new Derrick Mason
Have I missed something? Is Hawkings really going to become a multi-1,000 yd reciever in the near future?
Take a look at DMase's year by year stats here -- Link. Virtually nothing until year 4. It isn't like you saw what he'd be in the first couple of years.Hawkins' physical characteristics, as well as his unique opportunity to come in under the middle and find a hole, is quite similar to Mason. Honestly, he could have a better opportunity than Mason did. He'll be eventually the #3, behind the fast guy -- Washington and the big guy -- Gage, and/or the big rookie Britt, as well as having Scaife/Cook at tight end both of which draw coverage.

I'm just saying...for what they need...he is a good fit.

I'll give you one more -- Chris Davis. He is having as good an off-season/camp as anyone and has drawn great praise from Collins. He and Hawkins are quite similar with Davis having maybe more quick/speed.

I'd rank them San Fran, Tenn, Oakland, Minny, Chicago, Dallas, Giants.

Worst to best.

I think Nicks and between Hixon/Barden/Smith/Manningham

for the #2 and 3 spots can out perform the WR 1,2,3s of Minny

and Chicago. Giants Vs Dallas -Witten AND M Bennett are going

to keep Crayton/Austin from putting up any kind of numbers.

D Hester might prove me wrong but Olsen/Clark are still going to

see a lot of targets.
