Which RB lost the most value Sunday, McCoy or Best? (1 Viewer)

Best had a decent fantasy line, but does he do that on a week-to-week basis? And how much us McCoy worth if the Igles are unable to pass effectivly?

I think McCoy's value gained if anything. Weaver being out will give McCoy more goal line opportunities (i.e. The TD he had yesterday).I dont see Best rushing for 20 yards on 14 carries on a week to week basis.

Whats wrong with 20 fantasy points for Best? Chicago has a solid front 7. Take the points when you can get them.

What about J stew or Spiller?
J-Stew will be fine over the course of the season. I am more concerned about L-Mac and JB. JB seems to go down too easy and runs up the back of his blockers..reminds me a bit of Michael Bennett. Tons of speed with no moves.

If you spent a 2nd or 3rd round pick on Best and he is slated as your low end RB1 or high end RB2, then you should be worried- not panicked, because it's only game 1, but worried.

If, OTOH, you drafted Best in the 5th round (as I did) and he is slated as a low end RB2/high end RB3 with an unlimited ceiling, it's all good.

I think Best's value is solid considering the number of FPs he put up against a D that looks to be for real with a backup scrub QB in for the entirety of the 2nd half allowing them to stack up the box to stop the run.

While Weaver's absence as a goal line vulture may help McCoy, I tend to think that his value is hurt by the fact that he may have a rushing QB in Vick making a case for more touches and the injury to Jamaal Jackson.

McCoy did have a nice YPC for the 7 times he carried the ball. I'm so glad I was grilling most of the day and only catching plays here and there, otherwise I would've been pissed seeing only 7 carries... Thank God for PPR leagues...

In my head, I bumped McCoy up after watching that game. To my untrained eyes, he looked better than he did last year. Add in that Weaver is now done, and how can he not be rated higher than he was a week ago? I would venture to say that if you ar bumping McCoy down after Sunday, then you had him rated way too high initially.

Huh?

Best had a pretty good performance in my league. 20 pts is good for me. He put up 4x the points that my opponents RB1 put up (Turner)

You couldn't be more wrong if your name was Wrongy Wrong Wrongstein. Best, in his very first NFL game outscored Adrian Peterson this week. My knees aren't shaking at all.
