The Pats will win, because their offense will put up more on the Carolina D than Carolina will put up on the Pats D. I see a close game, with the Pats leading all the way. Then I see a INT TD from the Pats, and Delhomme falling apart (a la Bledsoe in 96, though it was the kick return that deflated them, along w/ the 4 picks). Then I see the Pats pulling away, covering the spread. Indi and TN put 14 on the Pats at home, in the snow. So, I expect no more than 14 out of the Panthers. The Panthers absolutely deserve to be there. I thought they would lose to St. Louis (and they should have), but they are clearly a better team than Philly. Dallas was fading fast at the end, and I expected Carolina to knock them off. Then theres the simple fact that in the loser go home tourney, the Panthers kept winning. I am so looking forward to this game. Both play the style of ball that I like. Not flashy, but effective, as they're in the SB, not the Rams, or Denver, or Green Bay, or the teams that many people have to label as 'better', because they didn't earn the title.
