In the nicest, most friendly competitive way possible, I hope you all go to hell.

I'm not sure you understand the definition of logical.I would care a hell of a lot less but the logical points of my argument are still valid.johnnyrock62000 said:What a homer take. I have no problem looking at things through homer eyes, but you have to be objective on some things. Leyland's job is to win every game. If you can win with a starter, you do it. If you can win with a September call-up, you do it.As a baseball fan I love that Leyland took the game seriously. Of course he will because he's a professional with pride. You can see it on his face. Galarraga wasn't ready to pitch mentally, and to me it looked like Leyland was pretty pissed when he yanked him.I thought this was messed up. It's going the other way with the idea of sitting players in a game is ruining the integirity of the game. Give it everything you got if your the tigers, but don't run multiple starting pitchers like it's a playoff game. Imagine it was a player like Brandon Webb or Tim Lincecum and they come into a game not being the orignal starter and he shutdowns the Sox and knock them out of the playoffs. Not even the Sox could implement this strategy themselves as they have a game the next day and then another on Thursday.Gotta respect that Leyland brought in Galarraga. Glad to see the Tigers didn't just lay down today - they are going to make the Sox earn it.to Leyland. Although my reaction was a little more than a thumbsdown while watching. Glad Galarraga sucked and the Sox stuck it to em.
at crewmember for being mad at Leyland for trying to do his job. That's bush league. Good luck today.
Yeah among the blackout there was one Cub fan sitting there pretending to be a Sox fanWhat a game to be at. Top 5 in terms of baseball games I've been to, probably #2 overall. Black out was in full effect. The crowd, was rocking and on their feet almost all night.John Danks just went right at the Twins last night and took advantage of a team that looked like they couldn't believe they had to play this game. Power Monster and his rumored army of 100,000 quitter Sox fans (I hear Mayor Daley was even in this group) weren't the only ones that wrote off this team. As of Thursday, when they finished off the sweep of the Sox, the Minnesota Twins wrote them off too and mailed it in. In turn, the Twins choked the division crown away. Back to Danks, 8 innings of 2 hit ball says it all. This outing alone helps solidify the fact that he's a stud in the making. To go out and pitch a game like this, at the age of 23, and cap off a season where he gave up 2 ER or less in 22 of his 33 starts. Just amazingOf course some people won't appreciate who got him here. Kenny Williams is continuing to prove that he's the best baseball executive this city has ever seen. In 9 years as general manager, the White Sox have only 1 losing season, 3 AL Central pennants, 1 American League Championship and 1 World Series Championship. Oh, and those last two categories could still improve this year. And while all of his moves don't always work (see Nick Swisher), the majority of them do. One would be hard pressed to find any executive that could matched up with these moves.John Danks was on the mound last night, becoming an ace, while Brandom McCarthy was reflecting on a year that only saw him make 6 starts. Let's not forget that Nick Masset came the Sox way in that deal too.Gavin Floyd, 17 game winner, was acquired (along with Gio Gonzalez) for Freddy Garcia. Freddy Garcia pitched 11 games for the Phillies and won one of them.Orlando Cabrera was acquired for John Garland. (See previous post about what O Cab brought to this team in return for a mediocre starting pitcher) And while O Cab isn't a clubhouse favorite, he helped solidify a position that was a huge problem going into the 2008 season. Q!, who missed a month and still finished .288/36/100, was acquired for Chris Carter. I won't blame you if you just asked 'who?'. Q! was probably on his way to the AL MVP until he got hurt and will still finish top five. Linebrink was brought in and helped solidify the bullpenThe Cuban missle was brought in and will probably be #2 in ROY votingKenny Williams is a ### ####ed genius

I'd lollipop Kenny Williams. He's damn good and does it with a payroll lower than alot of the competition.Kenny Williams is a ### ####ed genius
Proves more than ever that if you could lollipop this guy you would do it in a second
You'll have to excuse Power Monster, on top of not being very bright, there's a distinct possibility that he's a racist to boot. So don't expect him to give any credit where credit is due when it comes to Kenny Williams.I'd lollipop Kenny Williams. I will admit that he did a great job this year. This is why I picked the team to win the division in March. However- I will never lollipop another man. Just not my thing
and this is why you quit on them in June? The only team in the playoffs with a higher payroll are the Red Sux.I'd lollipop Kenny Williams. He's damn good and does it with a payroll lower than alot of the competition.Kenny Williams is a ### ####ed genius

I said the possibility is there that you are. A lot different than actually calling you a racist. But thanks for helping confirm the "not very bright" part of my comments. You'll have to excuse Power Monster, on top of not being very bright, there's a distinct possibility that he's a racist to boot. Calling me a racist is certainly defamation of character. Playing the race card is not only weak but you can be sued. Luckily for you- you can hide behind a message board. You need to take your stalking to the level of including some of the posts that I have made in the past crediting Kenny Williams this year for doing a good job. Mind you- it is a failure of a season if there is not another championship.
You can go find that link. I will contend that many fans were not too thrilled with multiple errors, bad bullpen performances, lapses with the offensive production, inability to throw out runners, inability to hit and run and bunt. You act like this team has won it all fool. They have won a ticket to be a champion. If they bring their second half key-stone cop routine- it will be 3 and out. If they play up to their potential they have a shot.I'd lollipop Kenny Williams. He's damn good and does it with a payroll lower than alot of the competition.

Actually you are not very bright. Making assumptions and using slander is cause for litigation. By associating my name to racism you have stepped over that line. I certainly would not pursue anything based on the fact that we are using alias accounts here but you might want to be careful when tossing this around.

Why don't you do everyone a favor and stop playing these stupid games. You were asked for a link to back something up, please do it.Ohhh yes are you on for a sig bet or are you just going to wuss out on that one?

Racist, racist, racist. You going to sue me too?You obviously know very little about slander/defamation/libel. I can call you a racist, Ditka call you a racist.
