Nicely played. It feels good to know that I was right all along about this fraud of a GM and now that the Cubbie bandwagon jumpers have infiltrated the club- the club is now sinking to Cubbie like depths. All hail the mighty agressive gambling Kenny Williams. Not to worry- Jake Peavy and Adam Dunn will pull the team out of the toilet very soon. Its still early and as far as we know- the coaches and players have not gotten any dumber. Amazingly funny stuff...

Does this look like a fraud to anyone else? Anyone? To me it looks like the most successful GM in the history of Chicago baseball. All in the past. Winning 1 WS 5 years ago now accounts for entitlements? That is the laughable aspect of this train wreck. When listening to an interview recently, an LA reporter that covers professional sports made an important point about how the media in Chicago loves to sing the praises of accomplishments but they are very silent when it comes to the subject of winning titles and championships. Where is the hardware? No one remembers fourth place. In ten, twenty years we will all remember the 2005 Kenny Williams WS team but he will never bring a championship team to Chicago again. Based on the sea of empty seats and the loud booing at the "Cell" it is clear to me that the fans know that this mess is beyond fraudulent. Last week- we heard the sports media in Chicago talk about being patient and now we are hearing about people being fired. There is no accountability with the failures and the sycophantic meanderings that come from folks that defend a GM that has made one blunder after another leading to the eventual demise of the club. This is by far the lousiest Sox team I have seen in a very long time and no matter how hard you spin it buddy boy, no matter how many years or posts, no matter how you continue to pull the pathetic race card the facts remain the same- GM Kenny is and will always be a one trick pony...

However, the Tribe is last in the league so there is a ray of sunshine21st team hitting average25th team ERA30th team saves with a whopping 3 saves on the season18th in fielding percentage and 10th overall within the errors catThese are facts and these are my own conclusions:Gordon Beckham and Alex Rios are vastly overrated playersAJ cannot throw runners outJuan Pierre and Omar Vizquel are proving to be players on the declineThird base is a large voidThe team cannot hit in the cold and they cannot hit unkown pitchersThey seem to have a hard time playing teams in the AL East and they certainly seem to take a drubbing from the likes of teams like the A's and the Rangers year after yearEdwin Jackson is badJohn Danks cannot put on the big boy pants and the same holds true for Gavin FloydMark Buehrle is really on the decline but has the ability to toss a gem at timesJake Peavy was a major mistakeAdam Dunn and Paulie are going to hit for power when it no longer matters but Paulie has really played very wellAlexi Ramirez is probably the best player on the teamOzzie will not see August or even July if this keeps goingBrent Morel is not ready for MLB pitchingGoing into the season with no plan for the bullpen (other than to sort it out as the weeks go by) was a major mistake. Agreed- I was looking at his overall play and not just focusing in on the errors that cost them two games.

You really think he's a waste of a roster spot? He can play 3B, SS, 2B and hit a respectable .276 last year, numbers are right there this year too.Regardless of his age, @ around $1m per I think he was an asset last year and should be this year too.
