Who are the good blocking WRs in the NFL? (1 Viewer)

Which receivers are good blockers? Seems like the list starts and ends with Hines Ward and Keyshawn Johnson. Who else does this well?

Please refrain from looking at the RBK rating on Madden for reference..that's the same game that let me take Joey Harrington to a 91 overall rating, so I don't put alot of faith in it.

mushin muhammad is one of the best blockers i have ever seen for a WR... he takes it really seriously, is a big dude & is good at it.

there aren't too many WR who are known as GREAT blockers...

i think givens is decent blocker for NE.

Those two came to mind immediately when I saw the thread,
It's because that's all anyone really seems to know and every announcer mentions it ad nauseum during any game they're in. I never really hear announcers give props to other guys.

all of the great ones have already been mentioned. So I'll toss out two of my favorite WRs as blockers in the 06 draft class- Brandon Marshall, Central Florida (quickly becoming my favorite WR in this draft) and Hank Baskett, New Mexico. Both are big physical guys that are assets as blockers from the WR position.

somewhat surprising, Fitzgerald.

Now if they just had a RB.

Eddie Kennison isn't horrible either.

What is wrong with you guys? This must be anti-Cowboy bias here, because the best blocking WR is clearly Keyshawn Johnson. When Flozell Adams went down this year, Keyshawn started playing a lot of snaps as a tight end in order to help run block. He is also the lead blocker on a bunch of running plays for the Cowboys.

I don't know about the rest, but I left him off simply because we don't want to see 1,000 "Keyshawn and Hines Ward" posts.

I think Plaxico learned a few things from Hines because I saw him make some pretty nice downfield blocks for Tiki this year.
