who did you draft..... (1 Viewer)

I took Julius Jones in the 3rd over some WR talent, and I took Alge Crumpler in the 6th in another when I also needed more WR talent.

Those are the only ones I'm bent out of shape about.

I'm a little nervous about taking Mike Bell as my third RB (esp. since we can only carry 4 RBs). Bush and Foster are 1-2. :bag:

worried about reggie brown. wasn't so much when he was the #1 but with donte' in... might drop him for jennings.

I know he is the popular pick, but I took Bush in the 2nd round.

I had Smith as my keeper and I was drafting in the 11th position of a 12 team draft. I managed to get Dunn as my RB1 and Bush is my RB2.

I think it is going to be a hit or miss type of season.

Moats in the 10th. Prob should have gone TE or even J Norwood. I thought he had the backup job locked

Joseph Addai in the 6th. Didn't feel like I reached for him, but I left some nice players on the table and I feel like Addai may have been overhyped during the preseason.

I fell for it.

I think that the fifth pick this year maybe one of the toughest to draft from. Obviously 1-3 with LT, Shaun, and LJ in no particular order are a given. Tiki appears to be the consensus number four although he is over 30 and getting vultured by Brandon Jacobs. I picked Steven Jackson at five. I felt really good about SJ but with the tendinitis and recent signing of S. Davis I am not so confident. I considered Rudi J. because of his consistency in production and lack of controversy. I am a Bengals homer and am thinking I should have gone with Rudi in the five-hole.

I have also been a consistent RB-RB drafter in the 1st and 2nd rounds in prior years. However, due to the depth in the mid-tier running backs to be had in 3rd and 4th rounds this year, I have been drafting WR in the 2nd rounds. I hope it works but I don't feel too good about it. One draft I took Torry in round 2 and another I took S. Smith. From a value perspective it looks like a good move but I am still uncomfortable with my deviation from my prior RB-RB security blanket. Just call me Linus.

DJax in the third, hope to god he's ok.
Me too but in the 4th. I'm still not ready to panic (pay no mind to HK in case you didn't know that) but it did worry me a bit that Seattle was mentioned in the Branch discussion. I drafted at the end of July and didn't know he was still having trouble but there was really nobody else on the board that I liked had I known anyway. Got Housh in the next round so my WR2 won't be bad anyway.I still believe that DJAX will be fine!:cautiouslyoptomistic:

Reggie Bush at 2.04 over Chad Johnson, Holt, etc. :bag: Lamont Jordan is my RB1 at 1.09.

Made up for it some later with Ahman Green in the 6th, Morency/Lundy in rds 13/14, and Jerome Harrison in rd 19.

FWIW. I'm pretty happy with my WR's even without Chad. I ended up with Wayne/Driver/Glenn/Keyshawn/Bradford and Jennings. Not too shabby for a 12 teamer.

[dynasty]

I, the Warrick Dunn owner - traded down (thinking that there was NO WAY the guy would take who I wanted) He took...yep...Jerious Norwppd. I took Lendale White. Not bad...but I wanted JERIOUS!!

Portid at 1.09 over SJax last week.

Moss over TO in round 3.

Morrency over Lundi in round 11.

As long as you draft value, you never have to ask yourself this question.

It was a league 100% filled with FBGs who knew exactly how I felt about Dayne. I don't hesitate a second to admit that I reached on him badly, but I was really at a loss on where to draft him. I had to throw ADP out the window at that point, because I figured if anyone else in the league wanted him, they'd know well enough to grab him well before his ADP. The one thing I could do to ensure that I wound up with him was jump on him well before anyone in their right mind would expect him to go.

One of our leagues did an early draft back in end of May, early June. I picked Djax with my 3rd rounder (start 3 WR league) and Curtis Martin as my Rb2 with my 4th rounder

But I did get Carson with my other late 4th rounder so that helps a little

Drafting Justin Fargas with my very last pick rather than Cobbs (I own both M. Bell and Jordan).

Hopefully no biggie when all is said and done.

Yes I would. You are a moron for drafting that early. You get what you deserve.

Why are you not feeling so great about it now?
As a Denver fan and native, Shanahan even has me concerned. I'd be more than happy if Mike Bell can fill the Mike Anderson role this year. Now I'm afraid Cobbs is going to cut into carries significantly (along with Tatum's obligatory 10-12). That wouldn't be so good. :(

As always, thanks for your valuable contribution!

I took Rod Smith, when receivers were around 2 or 3 rounds later. I ended up with Trent Green and Aaron Brooks at QB - Yuck....I may be able to pick up Mcnair.

What about Cobbs did I miss that will cut into MBell's time?
