Who is your favorite poster (1 Viewer)

Bankerguy

Footballguy
I'll start:

Washington and Philly are tied for my least fav teams. Fav posters are:

Tatum Bell/DGreen-Wash

Jason Wood-Philly

Normally I'd say my least favorite team is the Raiders, and to be honest I think just about all the Raider fans who frequent this board are solid posters (even Chadstroma despite his gawd awful politics :hifive: ) But they haven't been doing so well these last few years so I can't really get my hate on for them at this time. I think they're on the upswing, so that won't last.

The last few years though my least favorite team has far and away been the Patriots - and to be honest I don't have a favorite there. Yudkin's good (great source of inside Pats info), but I don't count him cause he's staff. Otherwise, there are a couple that are o.k. every now and then like [icon] and twitch, but I find most of the Pats fans to be pretty bad both in terms of quality of information and "presentation style". There are numerous Pats/NE fans that I absolutely loathe and pretty much skip any posts they make at this point.

Some very pleasant Charger fans here, very few that I avoid. Banger, Groovus, Maurile, and bicycle seat sniffer are all good peeps.

Broncos, SSOG is by far my favorite, and Moleculo is also a good contributor. A few young Turks around that I ignore.

Chiefs? Wait, give me a minute here.......

Gotta say the Cowboys are one of my least favorite teams ever since Jerry Jones bought the team & treated Tom Landry the way he did, yet one of my favorite posters on the Cowboys is the orginator of this very thread.

Here's a  to you Bankerguy. Keep up your good work.

:shrug:I would concur with Wood for the Iggles too.

Dang NorrisB, you sure do have a lot of "your most hated team"(s).

From the Chargers camp I've always been a fan of Banger.

From the Raiders camp probably raidernation.

From the Pats camp, I'm not sure... There are a few good ones but can't remember their names.

probably evilgrin and godsbrother off the top of my head, but honestly, most of the Pittsburgh guys are pretty cool.

I know that I will not get mentioned, nobody hates the Lions..except their own fans. :bag:
I like your posts. I don't normally notice who is a fan of what team, so I guess you're my favorite poster from a division opponent.I don't hate any team, and love the NFC North Team smack. The Packers generate the most heat,The Vikes are likeable, but tough this year, and the Lions are just so sad you feel sorry for them. The lions fan in our league catches the most flak, but the best I could come up with this year, was a poll about who will win more games between the Lions and my near equally sad Bears.

Chiefs? Wait, give me a minute here.......
Ashcraft is good for them. He usually has good inside info. Course he's staff...
I have to assume you missed Ashcroft's MELTDOWN last year when a couple people suggested that the Chiefs might be looking at a down year. I thought he was channeling Power Monster through most of that thread.
I do remember that - I thought it was pretty entertaining actually, as I don't think even he really believed what he was saying. You can have good inside info and still draw the wrong conclusions from it, especially when you're a total  . :fishing:

New England-David Yudkin
I agree about Yudkin. However he is a Cowboys fan...FYI.
So he only qualifies as a Patriots apologist then? I kind of lost respect for him when he started saying that the only reason that the Chargers got into scoring range so frequently in last year's playoff game was because that was part of their defensive philosophy.
They got into scoring range what, four times? And two of them started in Patriots territory.

AhrnCityPahnder makes me laugh when he skewers we Baltimorons. And here's a friendly :finger: to my neighbor and Skins fan, fatness. You need to be in my local league, dude.

Which apparently was due to the Patriots% defensive philosophy. It was all part of their evil plan.

No, it wasn't. It was hysterically entertaining! Just ask Dufresne for confirmation.
I'd second that..."I'll hold you accountable" was classic.my fav poster on least fav team would be raidernation, in large part for work he has done on other boards.

 Add: ArhnCityPander (I know I didn't spell that one right)Even if I don't agree w/ his take, that avatar usually makes me laugh.

people really "hate" other teams? ever since I started dominating in six leagues, I no longer have favorite teams or teams I hate. It's all about the players, the scouting and the money.

:) :goodposting: Just like to add redman and fatness to the Wash group.I wish nothing but failure on this teams (as long as Westy and McNasty perform in the top 5...proud owner) especially when they play the Cowboys. But hey, these are so fairly decent guys.

That's very flattering y'all.

No one hates the niners
I used to hate them or were envious of them, not really sure, probably a little of both. Back in the early 80's and the early to mid 90's ,Dallas and the 49ers competed for a lot of Super Bowls.I think when a team is down, unless there is a true hatred there, you almost take a mental break from not liking them because they're not a threat. For example, nobody ever hated New England the way some hate them now until they started winning. They are a threat to everyone's favorite team's chance to win a SB and a threat to steal the headlines.Hate is such a strong word, but if I'm being honest, I dislike every team in the NFC East besides the Cowboys. If the Cowboy's aren't winning the division, it doesn't make me feel any better if the Eagles, Giants or Redskins are winning it. I thought it made a difference when I was younger. I thought that if the Cowboy's didn't win it, at least don't let the Redskins win and at least they couldn't claim victory. Then the Giants started doing well in the mid to late 80's and as a Cowboy fan you started to "hate" them because they were a better football team. Same for the Eagles earlier in this decade, I never disliked the Eagles more than when they kept winning the division over and over early in McNabb's career. So, I've came to the basic conclusion that I just don't like anyone in the NFC East but also have a tremendous amount of respect for each of them. That includes their fans as well as their franchise history. What I like out of a poster is not only someone who can spit out facts, but the ability to be impartial, even when in discussion about their favorite team. Over the years, as much as I love the Cowboys, I try my best not to come across as a homer (not that I live anywhere near Dallas, but the general concept of being a homer) but to look at whatever issue we're talking about. When I see that quality in another poster, that really sticks out and I appreciate that kind of dialogue because it's fun to communicate with someone who has a tremendous amount of knowledge and passion about a team and you know they aren't just blinded by their love for their team.Guys I know that have a passion for a certain team but can be impartial and it reflects in their posting are:BostonFred Marc LevinDavid YudkinGatormanAnthony BorbelyChase StuartJason WoodThere are some I know I'm not remembering, I'm only on my first cup of coffee but looking at that list just reminds me of the great job that Joe B. And David Dodds do in recruiting for this site, as many of those guys work for FBG. There are also other posters I think are great and I just don't know who their favorite team is but always do a great job in creating quality posts.

Well, I can't stand the Packers, nor can I stand any of their fans (including my sister). So nobody :bag:

:goodposting:

I'd agree. most of them are pretty cool. I'll go ahead and add BigSteelthrill to the list. I'll toss in OBXlegends from the Baltimore side of things.

I hate all the teams equally. :hifive:I enjoy posts from: Tatum Bell, Borbely, Bloom, Bramel (you guys are missing his science if you don't come to the IDP boards), Chaos Commish, Andy D and of course Rymer.

AhrnCityPahnder makes me laugh when he skewers we Baltimorons. And here's a friendly :finger: to my neighbor and Skins fan, fatness. You need to be in my local league, dude.
As soon as you drop the "Must Wear Women's Undergarments" requirement I'm in!

Jets: Chase Stuart

Stihlers: Godsbrother, Evilgrin, AhrnCityPandler

Colts: pizzatime

Chargers: Groovus, Ghost?

Cowboys: [null set] Yudkin, although I won't get credit for that answer

(with apologies for name butchering)

Re: nobody hataes the niners, that's generally true but Steve Young is a whiner and a tool.

I just hope one day the Texans get to a point someone will hate them. Hopefully because of success and not because of Alex Gibbs-coached cut blocks.

Until then...

I'll throw props to Iwannabeacowboy and Bentley for Dallas. I'll include bostonfred for the Patriots though I don't so much hate the Pats as I am just tired of a large segment of their fan base. Edit to add: I'll add Road Warriors for the Pats.
