Who makes a bigger impact on the 2nd half of the season? (1 Viewer)

I believe in maximizing all roster slots. Both look to be good IR stashes if you can afford it. This is the week Mendy probably makes it on more teams. Which player looks to have more 2nd half impact? I am betting on Best. Thoughts?

I don't see Best returning this year honestly. I have no idea why DET is shopping around, looking at mediocre RBs when they already have four rostered and a fifth (Best), who is supposedly coming back. I don't like Mendy either. He's an underwhelming runner, coming off an ACL tear who will be running behind an underwhelming OL. I'll take the lesser of two evils though. My vote goes to Mendy.

If you put a gun to my head I'd say Mendy although I don't like him. I just think that Best may be done and even if he is cleared to play he now has Leshoure and Smith to deal with where before he was the only guy in town. Same basic issue with Mendy having to share time/win back job from Redman/Dwyer but at least he's on the roster and practicing.

Technically, Best will have more impact, inasmuch that his not being able to return to action enables Leshoure to shine; or, if that craps out, forces Stafford into full gunslinger mode.

In that sense, Best's absence topples more dominoes than Mendy's return.

Ergo, Impact.

Mendy because Best likely won't see the field. However the Steelers RB situation is probably going to be RBBC all year.

I'll go against the conventional wisdom and say Best will return this year and play like he never left.
